ARIZONA - 26 Illegal immigrants identified as sex offenders

Tucson Sector Border Patrol is taking measures to prevent sexual perpetrators from crossing the border to the United States.
According to a press release,
many illegal immigrants who are apprehended while attempting to cross the Arizona border are identified as sex offenders or other dangerous criminals.
The Border Patrol uses the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System to identify immigrants with possible criminal records.

In the month of March, the Tucson Sector Border Patrol
arrested 26 illegal immigrants, all of whom were identified as sex offenders. Record checks showed a range of charges, including
Child Fondling, Sexual Abuse, Sexual Battery, Lewd and Lascivious Acts against a Child and Rape.
