all victims of international crime; fraud perpetrated through
furniture.

police paid an unexpected visit to the At-Home Furniture store,
encountering Ashraf Al-Frookh, a 36-year-old co-owner whose answers
didn't add up.

U.S. counterterrorism officials have authenticated a video by an al Qaeda recruiter threatening to smuggle a biological weapon into the United States via tunnels under the Mexico border, the latest sign of the terrorist group's determination to stage another mass-casualty attack on the U.S. homeland.
The video aired earlier this year as a recruitment tool makes clear that al Qaeda is looking to exploit weaknesses in U.S. border security and also is willing to ally itself with white militia groups or other anti-government entities interested in carrying out an attack inside the United States, according to counterterrorism officials interviewed by The Washington Times.

Security chief says terrorists have been arrested on Texas border Thursday, September 13 @ 12:56:47 EDT by Jean (2935 reads) | DALLAS — Texas' top homeland security official said Wednesday that terrorists with ties to Hezbollah, Hamas and al-Qaida have been arrested crossing the Texas border with Mexico in recent years.
"Has there ever been anyone linked to terrorism arrested?" Texas Homeland Security Director Steve McCraw said in a speech to the North Texas Crime Commission. "Yes, there was."
His remarks appear to be among the most specific on the topic of terrorism arrests along the Texas-Mexico border. Local and elected officials have alluded to this happening but have been short on details.

ALIPAC: An American Holocaust is at hand! Tuesday, September 11 @ 13:59:17 EDT by admin (13549 reads) | Friends of ALIPAC,
Today, we remember those who lost their lives in the attacks of
9/11/2001. It is also the three-year anniversary of the founding of
ALIPAC (Americans for Legal Immigration Political Action Committee).
ALIPAC was founded on 9/11/2004 in honor of the victims of 9/11. This
date was also chosen because the 9/11 attackers exploited America's
lack of immigration enforcement and inadequate immigration procedures.
Three years later, it has been a tough journey to reach the point we are at today.
We owe each of you a great deal of thanks for your support and your
activism through ALIPAC. We have grown from what was intended to be a
side project, into one of the largest and most active groups in America
fighting for immigration enforcement and secure borders.
Part of the inspiration for ALIPAC came from my dear friend, Mr. Peter
Gadiel of 9/11 Families for a Secure America (9-11 FSA). I met Peter in
2004 when he was in North Carolina campaigning to stop the NC
authorities from giving so many licenses to illegal aliens and the
terrorists among them. Peter lost his son James in the World Trade
Center attacks.
Working with Peter and many of the 300 families of 9/11 FSA, that have
been fighting for secure borders and immigration enforcement, really
has opened my eyes and led me to start ALIPAC.

Iraqi terrorists caught along Mexico border Thursday, September 06 @ 01:25:58 EDT by Jean (3082 reads) | American intelligence chief confirms 'people are alive' as a result of capture
President Bush's top intelligence aide has confirmed that Iraqi terrorists have been captured coming into the United States from Mexico.
The confirmation comes from National Intelligence Director Mike McConnell, who talked about the situation in an interview with the El Paso Times recently.
"Coming up through the Mexican border is a path," McConnell said. "Now, are they doing it in great numbers? No, because we're finding them and we're identifying them and we've got watch lists and we're keeping them at bay."
But, he said, "There are numerous situations where people are alive today because we caught them (terrorists)." Are Middle Eastern Terrorists Posing as Mexican Immigrants? Thursday, November 16 @ 11:03:25 EST by admin (2972 reads) | 09:42 PM CST on Wednesday, November 15, 2006
By Dave Fehling / 11 News
A warning from some Texas congressmen: Middle Eastern terrorists may be trying to pose as Mexican immigrants.
But is it a warning based on fact or politics?
Some people in Houston are worried about the message.
You couldn’t miss it during the election.
Texas politicians saying the border needed protection, not just to stop undocumented workers, but terrorists.
A month before the election, Mike McCaul, a congressman from a district northwest of Houston, released a report.
It said that just this summer, seven Iraqis were caught in Brownsville and that the Border Patrol found a jacket with a military patch written in Arabic.

JOHN ASHCROFT, FORMER ATTORNEY GENERAL: There are lots of different scenarios that have been both played out and have been guarded against, including whether you -- if you were to bring in components and assemble them instead of bringing in a completed instrument.
BECK: Right.
ASHCROFT: And I don`t know that I can say with any clarity or assurance about what the potential for that kind of effort is. However, I would say that it has been very thoroughly considered.
