Lou Dobbs to Visit O'Reilly on FOX Monday, November 16 @ 11:30:44 EST by Dixie (179 reads) | Lou Dobbs to Visit O'Reilly
Lou Dobbs, below, the outspoken CNN anchor who abruptly resigned from
his job last week, is scheduled to appear as a guest on Monday night’s
edition of “The O’Reilly Factor” on Fox News, Variety reported. Fox
News said he planned to discuss his on-air resignation as well as his
opposition to illegal immigration. Though the interview may heighten
suspicions that Mr. Dobbs is being courted by Fox, representatives from
the network said there had been no discussions. Jonathan Klein,
president of CNN’s domestic operations, agreed to release Mr. Dobbs
from his “Lou Dobbs Tonight” contract after he refused to tone down his
rhetorical style.

In Surprise, Lou Dobbs Quits CNN Thursday, November 12 @ 02:33:21 EST by jean (516 reads) | Note: Whatever road Lou Dobbs takes in the future we here at ALIPAC wish him sincere good luck.
Months ago the president of CNN/U.S., Jonathan Klein, offered a choice to Lou Dobbs, the channel’s most outspoken anchor. Mr. Dobbs could vent his opinions on radio and anchor an objective newscast on television, or he could leave CNN.
For a time, Mr. Dobbs did tone down his TV rhetoric, but on Wednesday he made a more drastic decision: He chose opinion.

Security concerns for Arpaio after Lou Dobbs shooting scare Thursday, October 29 @ 22:05:49 EDT by admin (455 reads) | Reported by: Katie Fisher
ABC 15
Oct. 29, 2009 5:24 pm
PHOENIX, AZ -- Officials with the Maricopa
County Sheriff's Office say they are closely examining Sheriff Joe
Arpaio's security after a recent shooting involving CNN TV host Lou
Dobbs.
Dobbs' New Jersey home was shot at three weeks ago and some say the
outspoken host may have been the target of pro-illegal immigration
activists.
According to MCSO officials, Dobbs went public Thursday, saying the
media's portrayal of him as a 'hate monger' is fueling open borders
activists to rally against him, now to the degree of attempting to
cause his family bodily harm.
MCSO Spokesperson Ryan Lee said the department is concerned for
Arpaio's safety considering that both he and Dobbs are extremely vocal
and visible on a national level in their beliefs that illegal
immigration is a serious crime, worthy of arrest and incarceration.

All Americans That Value Our 1st Amendment Rights!" -- William Gheen of
ALIPAC.us
Friends of ALIPAC,
We have just learned that someone has fired a gun at the home of Lou
Dobbs, with his wife just a few feet away from the incident. The
gunfire followed a series of threatening phone calls.
Lou Dobbs is being targeted by the pro-illegal alien groups and pundits who feel that Dobbs is stopping Amnesty from passing.
The Southern Poverty Law Center, the Anti Defamation League, the
National Council of La Raza, Media Matters, and Geraldo Rivera of Fox
News are using false information to foment hatred towards Lou Dobbs or
any American who speaks out against Amnesty or illegal immigration.
They have pushed for Lou Dobbs to be fired and since CNN has
refused to do that some people are now turning to violence to try and
achieve their goals.

Lou Dobbs Right on Obama Birth Certificate
Monday, August 3, 2009 9:48 AM Newsmax
The Associated Press is wrong and Lou Dobbs is right.
This past weekend, the AP published a story entitled "CNN's Dobbs Under Fire for Hosting 'Birthers'".
The AP began their highly critical story on Dobbs:
"He's become a publicity nightmare for CNN, embarrassed his boss and
hosted a show that seemed to contradict the network's 'no bias' brand."
And what is Dobbs'
"crime?" He has said on air that Obama should release his birth
certificate and has had on his show guests who suggested Obama was born
outside the U.S.

Lou Dobbs and CNN network: Can this marriage be saved?
David Bauder August 3rd, 2009 Associated Press
NEW YORK — He’s become a publicity nightmare for CNN, embarrassed his
boss and hosted a show that seemed to contradict the network’s “no
bias” brand. And on top of all that, his ratings are slipping.
How does Lou Dobbs keep his job?
It’s not a simple answer. CNN insists it is standing behind Dobbs,
despite calls for his head from critics of his reporting on “birthers”
— those who believe President Barack Obama wasn’t born in the United
States despite convincing evidence to the contrary. The “birthers”
believe Obama was born in Kenya, and thus not eligible to be president.

Good News about the Draft Lou Dobbs effort! Friday, March 07 @ 11:22:11 EST by admin (1860 reads) | "Draft Lou Dobbs for President" Supporters,
We have good news to share about Lou Dobbs.
There is still a chance Lou Dobbs may run for President, however, keep
in mind that if he chooses not to run, our efforts can still help in
the battle against illegal immigration. The Open Borders Lobby and
illegal alien supporting groups are doing all they can to take Lou off
the air. As we organize together behind Lou Dobbs this helps to show
support for him, while he faces these nasty attacks. Your interest and
participation will help to strengthen and reinforce Lou Dobbs and his
messages about secure borders and immigration enforcement.
The great news is that Lou Dobbs now has a national radio show!
This will allow him to reach many more Americans with his message.
Talk radio is the perfect audience for Lou Dobbs and the launch of his
show is a great step forward.

Lou Dobbs says he might be a candidate for President! Monday, February 25 @ 08:36:57 EST by admin (1937 reads) | Aired February 21, 2008 - 17:00 ET
The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer
On CNN on hour before the Lou Dobbs Show
BLITZER: Check in with Lou Dobbs to see what's on his mind right now. His show begins in an hour.
Lou, when you take a look at this contest right now, independent voters
out there, whether the moderate center on both sides or people who just
don't see themselves as Republicans or Democrats, how do you think this
is going to break when it comes down to the two person contest?
LOU DOBBS, CNN ANCHOR: Well, for the two-person contest moving into
the general election, you know, I think you've got two candidates who
are going to have to move quite a distance to get to the center.
Independents in this country live at the center of the country as do
most Americans. And these candidates, whether it's Obama, whether it's
Clinton, whether it's McCain or even Huckabee, they got a ways to go to
get to the center.
BLITZER: Because McCain's reputation out there is really as sort of
a maverick and independent. He's gone against the White House on
several issues. He's gone against his fellow Republicans on several
issues, one of two Republicans to vote against the Bush tax cuts in
2001, as you remember. Only Lincoln Chafee, the former senator from
Rhode Island, joined him on the Republican side...

ALIPAC Open Letter: The Lou Dobbs Deal It's Now or Never! Wednesday, February 20 @ 12:22:02 EST by admin (8382 reads) | The Lou Dobbs Deal It's Now or Never
February 20, 2008
Mr. Dobbs, America needs you to gather the brightest minds around you
from across the political spectrum and to announce a run for President
now, because America needs a better selection on the ballot this
November.
The American Spirit is rising to defend this nation and that spirit
is calling on you to run for President. America needs a historic change
in Washington. America needs a "Lou Dobbs Deal" to unite us on the
issues that most Americans agree on, but representation is depriving
them of.
When you recently responded to a reporters questions about running
for President with "Never say Never", as a child of the 80's it invoked
memories of the song "Never say Never" by Romeo Void for me. Let me
answer your comments with a new lyric, "It's Now or Never."
Mr. Dobbs, you would make a great Presidential candidate for many
reasons. A historic stage is set where Americans are ready to throw out
the status quo in Washington. Approval ratings for Congress and the
President are at historic lows, while the percentage of people who
believe America is on the wrong track are at historic highs!
You have the character, the issues, the name recognition, and personal attributes to heed this call and succeed.

ALIPAC files formal complaint over article bias in Chicago Tribune! Wednesday, February 20 @ 11:59:29 EST by admin (2576 reads) | February 20, 2008
To: The editors and ombudsmen of the Chicago Tribune and Baltimore Sun.
I wish to file a formal complaint and request a full retraction of the
propaganda hit piece that was conducted by your papers and your
employee Whitney Blair Wyckoff, on February 19, 2008, titled "Lou Dobbs
for president? One anti-illegal immigration group thinks he's the
antidote to 'McClintobama'."
I witness so much bias, politicization, censorship, and corruption of
journalistic ethics in the American print media on a daily that I am
rarely astounded anymore. This "article" by Ms Wycoff stands as a
perfect example of what is wrong with America today. Americans used to
trust newspapers to provide them with accurate information and
portrayals of the candidates and issues that have a direct impact on
the quality of their lives.
It is no surprise that newspaper circulations are taking a dive and
that polls show only small fractions of our citizenry place any trust
in the print media. This "article" is a perfect example.
The topic of Whitney Blair Wyckoff's article is Lou Dobbs and our
website to promote a possible Presidential campaign by Mr. Dobbs. Yet,
Mr. Dobbs is not quoted as a source and while our home site at
ALIPAC.us or our Draft Dobbs for President site are main features in
the article, no links are provided thus allowing Wycoff to define the
sites without showing readers where they could go to participate or
formulate their own opinions.
Wycoff inserts her own opinions into the article several times. She
calls Lou Dobbs "cantankerous" in the first sentence, which is defined
as a person that is ill-tempered, quarrelsome; disagreeable: disliked.
While this is her opinion and an insult, but it is also a lie because
Mr. Dobbs is quite a gentleman and well liked by Americans, which is
illustrated by his rapidly growing audience.
