 National media shows bias in report coverage
Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) has determined that the three suspects being held by authorities in Grand Junction, Colo., for the kidnapping and gang rape of an American woman are likely illegal aliens.

Since the story was strikingly similar to numerous other stories coming in from around the nation that involve illegal aliens and gang rape, ALIPAC e-mailed a request to Grand Junction Daily Sentinel newspaper reporter Mike Wiggins regarding his latest article on these crimes.
Wiggins responded: "I believe some or all of (the) three may be illegal immigrants, though I haven't heard anything mentioned about it at any of their court hearings."
Reynaldo Tuyub, 21, Carlos Soberanis, 34, and Lorenzo Varguez, 28, have been arrested and charged with sexual assault, kidnapping and third-degree assault.
Authorities say the three men kidnapped a woman from a gas station near Grand Junction and took her in a van to a Colorado National Monument on August 22.
According the Daily Sentinel reports, Soberanis confessed he was the driver of the van and had driven the woman up to the monument at the direction of Tuyub and Varguez. He said he watched at least two men have sex with the woman but denied participating in the rape, according to court records.
A district judge has assigned court appointed attorneys for two of the men. A third has waived his right for a preliminary hearing and will be arraigned on Jan. 24.
A search of the Google news service indicates that no media outside of Grand Junction is reporting this story at this time. This is common practice when a story involves illegal aliens that commit gang rape. Incidents of alleged gang rape are widely reported when the suspects are American citizens.
Frequent news searches on the topic of gang rape indicate that a high percentage of gang rapes in America involve illegal aliens.
"We are seeing two very clear patterns," ALIPAC President William Gheen said. "There is a clear association between illegal immigration, illegal alien gangs, and the crime of gang rape. The second trend is that these rapes are reported locally and not picked up by the national or statewide news agencies if the suspects are illegal aliens. Similar incidents involving legal U.S. citizens are reported nationally."
This is the sixth incident of gang rape by illegal aliens ALIPAC has reported in a little over three months. Several other gang rape stories and stories involving illegal aliens are being suppressed.
Police arrested six illegal aliens near Charlotte, N.C., on or around October 10 and charged them with the gang rape of a Huntersville woman. Each illegal alien had a valid North Carolina driver license. The story was posted on ALIPAC's Web site and forwarded in a release to national and state news outlets. To date, no media outside of the immediate Charlotte area have reported this crime except for one article in a newspaper in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

If you can find the first article, you will find that the Cabarrus Co. police assisted in that investigation because of another rape that was almost exactly like the one reported. Not a peep in the press about it....
Your first story has yet another media unrepported gang rape beneath it. What's that make? Seven? |

I am the victim of the assault at Denver's First Data/Western Union's
Forum on Immigration by a Mexican national, July 22.
One of the reasons I became interested in stopping immigration was the
rape and murder of a young 14-year old girl in Northern California by
an illegal alien Mexican who fled, and whom Mexico refused to
extradite. Many years back.
Why aren't you mentioning that raping a white female is a "gang
initiation" rite of passage for many non-White, often immigrant gangs?
This was the case in Boulder, Colorado about 5 years ago when a van of
Vietnamese grabbed a 100-lb blonde student walking down the street and
gang-banged her for hours in their van. At one point, she escaped and
ran naked down the street, but they caught her and continued the
assault.
Even though these rapists were caught and ADMITTED that the rape of a
White female was required in order to gain entrance into their beloved
gang -- NO HATE CRIME CHARGES WERE FILED! Yes, the victim was
definitely selected and victimized due to RACE and ETHNICITY alone!
Had this been a White on Asian crime, we would still be hearing about
it.
And you will be astonished to find that rape is not a "hate crime"!
Yet, the fact this woman was kidnapped off of Boulder's once safe
streets and held against her will WAS NOT PROSECUTED AS A HATE CRIME
EITHER. Why not? That IS the question, isn't it? Neither the
Boulder, Colorado police nor the District Attorney have ever managed to
answer the hate crime question, and the local media have never posed
it. Why? No coverage of the gang initiation rite, either.
Amazingly, one of the Vietnamese gang rapist tried to use a cultural
defense to get off, saying in his culture, it was required to honor his
elders, and since the male demanding the gang rape was older than he,
that fact that he raped this blonde, American woman was merely in

Is the national media supposed to search out and report to us every crime committed by illegal aliens nationwide? I live in Charlotte, NC. Why would I expect this to be in the papers in Olympia, WA or Houston, TX? Do I need the details of every crime committed by illegals?
In each of these cases aren't the rapists being caught, prosecuted and imprisoned just as a native-born rapist would be?
There are over 1 million cases of rape in the US annually and you have demonstrated 7 that were perpetrated by illegal aliens. Wow. How about at least one statistical fact to back up any the anecdotal evidence? Are illegal immigrants statistically more likely to be rapists than natives or not? You mention trends, patterns, percentages and clear associations without a single hard fact. What kind of reporter writes about the "high percentage of gang rapes" without even giving the damn percentage?
You may actually be 100% correct about this but this article is so badly written it is pointless. Gangs are bad, rape is bad, illegal immigration is bad (hence the "illegal" label) and racist, inflammatory, biased reporting is bad. You are one to talk about pathetic media performance.
We need to prosecute those who employ illegals if we ever want to get them out of here. As long as we turn a blind eye to the deliberate use of illegals in the workforce this will never stop. When the NYC Chief of Police and proposed head of Homeland Security thinks nothing of employing an illegal alien himself, we are in big trouble. Focus on that and stop this scare-tactic nonsense.
