State Laws Immigration illegal legalALIPAC NOTE: In 2009, In-state tuition for illegals has been defeated in Arkansas, Colorado, New Jersey, Oregon, and now Maryland!  Please inform your members of Congress and make sure they understand that both American states and the American public reject Dream Act AMNESTY legislation.  Members of Congress should follow the states!

El Tiempo Latino reported that legislators adjourned before considering the bill, which was introduced by Sheila Hixon. Even if they have graduated from Maryland high schools, undocumented students are considered nonresidents and pay college tuitions that are about three times the rate for residents.
