Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) offers their enthusiastic endorsement of Patrick McHenry for US Congress in North Carolina's 10th district today. State Representative McHenry offers voters a clear choice for immigration reform.
"Patrick McHenry's campaign is a good example of how candidates should address the issue of illegal immigration." says William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "He has indicated that he opposes any amnesty or guest worker program and that the deportation process should be streamlined. While some candidates rely heavily on the illegal immigration issue, McHenry has offered the voters a choice while maintaining a well balanced campaign. We expect to see Patrick McHenry earn an "A" rating for immigration reform in his first term."
Patrick McHenry was endorsed due to his responses to ALIPAC's candidate survey found at http://www.alipac.us , his campaign platform messages at http://www.mchenryforcongress.com and his opponent's statements on this issue. McHenry's opponent has made statements that the focus should not be on American border security, but on family planning for other countries. The McHenry campaign estimates that there are six million illegal aliens in America.

Some sources say that we have 15 million illegal aliens in America with an unprecedented amount crossing the border each day. We need a Congress that will turn back this tide. America can't conserve what is great about our nation with 4,000 people illegally crossing our borders each day with 3 million expected to cross this year."
