Friends of ALIPAC,
Our recent national press coverage has illustrated once again how very
willing our opponents are to lie. We've been called anti-immigration
and anti-immigrant, which is false. Each time a biased media source
does that, they harm their own credibility, which is good. All true
Americans hate a liar.
Biased media and pundits have to lie about us because if they told
the truth in their reports, ALIPAC would be very popular with their
audiences and they know it.
The correct term for ALIPAC in an article is an "advocacy group",
"political group", "anti-amnesty", or "anti-illegal immigration" group.
But even the word "anti" is not appropriate for ALIPAC unless you were to use it with the words anti-treason or anti-traitor.
The best and most accurate way to describe
ALIPAC and all those Americans who are fed up with illegal immigration,
is PRO AMERICAN. This fight is between Pro Americans of every race and
political party Vs. Anti-Americans who hate this nation and want to
tear it down and build some Utopian nightmare where the solutions are
more dangerous than the problems.
And speaking of Pro-Americans, we have some great news to report.
While we have been busy trying to push back the Obama/Gutierrez amnesty
legislation and accurately inform the nation about Lou Dobbs, ALIPAC
has heard from more congressional candidates than ever before!
From the unsolicited contacts we have received two things that are clear.
One, there is a powerful energy and interest brewing among Pro-Americans like us in the 2010 elections.
Two, if we work hard and start early we will reach election day in
2010 with an army of Congressional candidates who are willing to chose
the Constitution, existing immigration laws, and the American public
instead of the treasonous Open Borders and Amnesty lobby.
We must choose our candidates carefully and do our best to
determine which ones will make fighting illegal immigration an
important part of their campaigns and will sign a pledge that makes it
clear "I support and will assure the existing borders and immigration
laws of America are enforced as they are drawn and written today!"
In 2004, ALIPAC had just started and we were only able to analyze and endorse about 10 candidates.
In 2006, we were able to endorse and support 116 candidates.
In 2008, we were able to endorse and support 171 candidates!
Our goals for 2010 are to attempt to analyze and endorse over 200
campaigns, to get our endorsements in front of more people than ever
before, and to donate more funds than ever before.
While we have not been able to spend as much as we would like on
candidates and campaigns in the past, each election cycle ALIPAC is
stronger and doing more.
Our real power is in our ability to influence the national debate
and to distribute our endorsements widely at low cost on the web and
talk radio.
Our real financial power is not in ALIPAC's direct donations to
candidates as it is in the donations directly to campaigns from ALIPAC
supporters and members of the public who view our recommendations.
We also have growing power in our volunteer base and you can be
assured that victory for candidates in 2010 will be determined by the
energy level and number of volunteers.
ALIPAC has worked hard for five years to gather and organize many of
the very best Americans from all walks of life who are willing to do
what it takes to defend our nation.
Many of our top activists have built communications and
relationships with our lawmakers by attending fund raisers and
volunteer efforts for their campaigns!
We have a lot more people with us now than we had in 2008. We have
more combined experience and more credibility with the voters since
this will be our sixth year in the fight.
Those fine candidates and lawmakers out there who have made the
decision to stand with the American public against illegal immigration
and any form of amnesty are going to need our help and support!
We are very happy to be hearing from so many candidates already and
we will be taking measures soon to launch our candidate support efforts
for 2010.
In the meantime, please encourage any candidates for public office
to sign up for our e-mail alerts. Federal candidates who are receiving
our alerts will be able to respond quickly when our official call for
candidates goes out soon.
While ALIPAC can only endorse and support Federal candidates,
candidates who are running for non Federal positions can also benefit
from our e-mail alerts which will help to keep them abreast of an issue
that will be of top importance to voters in 2010, especially if Obama
and Gutierrez are dumb enough to launch their amnesty legislation on
Dec. 15, 2009.
We are hearing from so many candidates because candidates who are
working hard to find out what is important to the voters are learning
two important lessons. One, illegal immigration is a top issue next to
the economy and the wars. Two, the vast majority of Americans oppose
any amnesty path to citizenship for illegal aliens and desire
enforcement instead of amnesty.
No biased Associated Press or New York Times articles or crazy
rants by that childish, unprofessional, lying creep Keith Olbermann of
MSNBC will change those facts.
Of course, we expect Olbermann will continue to sling political mud
each night claiming everyone against amnesty are "anti-Hispanic bigots"
just like he accused ALIPAC last week when reporting the Dobbs
flip-flop story.
Unlike Geraldo Rivera and Keith Olbermann, at least Lou Dobbs has
enough backbone to directly debate ALIPAC. We'd like to remind both of
those pro illegal immigration spokesmen that we are ready take them on
anytime. We'd also like to remind them both that more people in the
public are becoming aware of their cowardice.
Sure, Rivera and Olbermann come across as articulate men when
appearing in controlled environments on television without any serious
or competent opposing views to provide the public with contrast.
We won't hold our breath for those two to grow a spine.
Our attention soon turns to the elections and everyone should be
prepared for a barrage of screaming and yapping because that will have
to happen before we know we are winning.
No noise equals no change. They only start lying, complaining,
hitting beneath the waist, and screaming when we are doing something
right. When the pro-amnesty side starts screaming and acting crazy,
that's when we will know that revolutionary political change is within
our grasp for 2010.
