Friends of ALIPAC,
Please remember that next Tuesday, December 15 is the latest target
date set by Congressman Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) to file the Obama
supported Amnesty legislation. ALIPAC stands ready to lead the backlash
and rally opposition to the bill as soon as he files it.
Also, our Press Director, Jim Palmer, is moving on to new
opportunities after years of wonderful service to our organization. We
wish Jim and his family great success with their new endeavors and
while he plans to stay involved with ALIPAC he can no longer fulfill
the role of Press Director.
PRESS DIRECTOR
This opens up a volunteer position at ALIPAC. We are seeking a
qualified person with good communication skills to serve as our Press
Director or Media Coordinator.
This volunteer position only requires about 5
hours of volunteer time per week, sometimes less when things are slow
and sometimes more when things are hectic. We can train a qualified
candidate for the role of reaching out to the media for our cause,
scheduling interviews, and helping to distribute our press releases.
The work for this position can be done around your schedule.
Serving in this position will help ALIPAC to be quoted in more
papers and appear on more TV and Radio shows. The person in this
position will be helping to bring more people into our organization and
helping more Americans to be properly informed about illegal
immigration.
If you might be interested in this position, please contact WilliamG@alipac.us and include the words "Media Director" in the subject line.
OUTREACH DIRECTOR
We are also interested in adding a new volunteer position for an
Outreach Director that will work to be an ambassador for ALIPAC online
to help us coordinate and work with more groups and websites in the
nation.
This volunteer position will only require about 5 hours of work per
week and can be done on a completely flexible schedule. We need someone
that is reliable with attention to detail for this position. Good
communication skills a must.
The person in this position will be helping ALIPAC to expand our
coalition efforts and our online visibility. ALIPAC is currently the
national leader for coalition efforts in our movement and our web
presence is very strong. We need the right person to help build these
accomplishments further.
If you might be interested in this position, please contact WilliamG@alipac.us and include the words Media Director in the subject line.
Please include some information about yourself and why you support
ALIPAC in your e-mail along with any questions you have about these
positions. Experience is helpful but not required as we can easily
train you for these positions and dedication to our cause is more
important than experience.
Sincerely,
William Gheen and the ALIPAC Team
