Americans for Legal Immigration PAC added their support and endorsement to Congressman Joe Wilson's campaign for Congress today.
"Congressman Wilson is clearly in touch with the mood of the public on this issue." says William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "Illegal immigration and immigration reform is an issue on the rise in the Carolinas. The vast majority of our legal citizens want more done to protect our state budgets, health care systems, law enforcement agencies, and school systems from the largest wave of illegal immigration in our nation's history."
Joe Wilson was endorsed due to his responses to ALIPAC's candidate survey found at http://www.alipac.us and his campaign messages at http://www.JoeWilsonforCongress.com
Congressman Wilson has received a grade of "A" on immigration reform issues at http://betterimmigration.com for his legislative record during his first term. He has indicated that he opposes amnesties and "guest worker" programs for illegal aliens along with other rewards such as in-state tuition and driver licenses. Congressman Wilson considers illegal immigration a threat to our national security.
"We can't protect our nation if we can't protect our borders." Gheen says. "We hope that other legislators will follow the lead of Congressman Wilson on this issue and we hope the voters of South Carolina will return him to Congress. Across America, citizens are organizing to provide more support to candidates like Congressman Joe Wilson because he is willing to stand with America's legal citizens against illegal immigration."
Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is a national political action committee with supporters every state. Based in North Carolina, ALIPAC's goal is to provide more support for candidates that support immigration reform and illegal immigration reduction. More information at www.ALIPAC.us
