As the depth of corruption continues to be exposed in the Obama administration, the call for the president’s impeachment keeps gaining momentum.

Political pundits, politicians, and an ever growing segment of the American people feel that the extensive list of constitutional violations being racked up by Obama and his flunkies demands that legal action be taken.

American citizens have received a wake-up call about the corruption in the White House thanks to the evidence coming out that exposes the Obama administration’s attempt to cover up the Benghazi attack. People are tired of the lies, and they are demanding their representatives do something about it.

The movement to impeach Obama is gaining additional support from a U.S. Senate candidate from Oregon, who recently signed a pledge to impeach the president should he be elected to office.

Mark Callahan, who made national news after being tossed out of an editorial board for calling out a liberal reporter for childish behavior, joins Jo Rae Perkins in signing the pledge co-sponsored by RenewAmerica.

    Via RenewAmerica:
Mark Callahan, the U.S. Senate candidate who was booted from an Oregon editorial meeting for daring to confront a reporter who wrote “blah blah blah” in quoting another candidate’s words, has signed a pledge calling for impeaching and removing Barack Obama for his “willful and repeated” abuses of power.

Callahan — whose defense of fellow candidate Jo Rae Perkins at the Willamette Week got him ejected by its editorial board — recently signed a candidate pledge that states, “I acknowledge that my sworn oath of office, if I am elected, will require me” to “support the initiation of House impeachment proceedings against President Barack Hussein Obama, and his inner circle.”

The pledge Callahan signed also affirms he will “vote to convict and remove those impeached if evidence of criminal, corrupt, or treasonous behavior; dereliction of constitutional duty; [or] abuse of the public trust…warrants that constitutional action.”

The pledge — a grassroots initiative of Pledge To Impeach, co-sponsored by RenewAmerica and Conservative Majority PAC — is available to all interested House and Senate candidates.

Jo Rae Perkins, the Senate candidate defended by Callahan at the editorial board, has also signed the pledge.

It’s encouraging to see that a new wave of fresh faces getting ready to hit Washington have the courage to stand on principle and conviction. Too many in Washington, on both sides of the aisle, have made compromises that have enabled Obama and his cronies to step on the rights of the American people.

As more individuals in Congress rise up to support the call for impeachment, and as Rep. Trey Gowdy and his committee continue to dig into Benghazi to find those responsible, it looks like Obama’s days in the White House might be numbered, and nothing better could happen to the country than his impeachment and removal from office.

Please share this article on Facebook and Twitter if you agree with U.S. Senate candidate Mark Callahan that the president needs to be impeached for violating his oath of office.
