ALIPAC is launching an effort today to warn all federal employees that Obama's directives to institute a mass Amnesty for millions of illegal aliens willing to claim they are under 30 and were brought here as children contradicts existing federal law, the rulings of Congress, and the US Constitution.
ALIPAC is asking all federal employees to refuse Obama's unconstitutional directives to provide Dream Act Amnesty for illegal immigrants along with all subsequent unlawful and unconstitutional orders from the Executive Branch that would harm Americans as this action does.
A veteran Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in Newark, Delaware, is currently being punished for refusing to release an illegal immigrant he deemed a risk to the American public. This and other unlawful orders mandated by Obama has many ICE and Border Patrol agents starting to balk as well.
"Each federal employee swears an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and now is the time for that oath to matter," said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "We are asking all federal employees to begin openly defying these 'deferred action Amnesty' orders and to begin walking off the job to the nearest media offices if necessary. Obama has decreed an order via memo that if allowed to stand will set a precedent of dictatorial decrees that shift the entire framework of American governance into some new form of dictatorship and despotism."
The US Constitution and US Courts have clearly stated that immigration policy is to be set by the American public through their duly elected members of Congress. The Executive Branch is supposed to execute the laws of Congress. The Obama "deferred action Amnesty" did not originate with Congress! It is not a formal Executive Order, it contradicts numerous existing federal laws designed to protect American citizens from illegal immigration, and it clearly mimics legislation that was defeated by the public and Congress several times.
ALIPAC is calling on members of Congress to intercede to stop Obama's abuse of power and his attempt to appeal to illegal aliens to commit voter fraud! Congressional members must be ready to support Congressman Steve King's (R-IA) lawsuit and request for court injunction, and call on federal employees to begin to peacefully exercise their civil rights by refusing orders that defy the US Constitution.
Americans for Legal Immigration PAC played a key role in defeating the Dream Act Amnesty legislation in Congress on several occasions. ALIPAC is now considering a lawsuit to recuperate supporter donations spent to that end since Obama has exceeded his constitutional authority to nullify the outcome of elections, citizen lobbying, congressional votes on legislation, and this legislation implemented by fiat.
ALIPAC has recently commented on these issues in the New York Times, Atlanta Journal Constitution, and on National Public Radio. All this has been despite specific efforts by George Soros backed groups to silence this organization through false claims designed to intimidate reporters and broadcasters.
