“Child Refugee” Admits Terror Intent, Plotted To Bomb U.S. Malls

At Wednesday’s presidential debate in Las Vegas, Hillary Clinton insisted she will continue to bring women and children refugees into the United States, and claimed she will not let anyone into this country who is not vetted, “who we do not have confidence in.”

On multiple occasions, the “children” refugees have become terrorists, or have been caught seeking to join a terror group. One just plead guilty this week to communicating with another child-refugee-turned-terrorist, and plotting to blow up two malls in Houston.

Iraqi refugee Omar Faraj Saeed Al Hardan, 24, came to Houston, Texas as a “child refugee” on or about November 2, 2009, after spending some time in refugee camps in Jordan and Iraq.

Two years after he arrived, on August 22, 2011 the Obama administration handed him a green card, making him a legal, permanent resident of the United States.

The vetting process includes asking a refugee if they have any connections to a terrorist group, and it is assumed they will just tell the truth.
According to the Department of Justice, Al-Hardan was charged in January for making false statements when he applied for citizenship.

”According to the allegations, he also knowingly responded, certified and swore untruthfully on his formal application when applying to become a naturalized U.S. citizen. He allegedly represented that he was not associated with a terrorist organization when, in fact, he associated with members and sympathizers of ISIL throughout 2014, according to the charges. The indictment further alleges that during an interview in October 2015, Al Hardan falsely represented that he had never received any type of weapons training, when he allegedly received automatic machine gun training.”

Monday, Al-Hardan admitted in a plea deal that he wanted to set off bombs at two malls in Houston, including the popular Galleria mall, by using cell phones to detonate the bombs. A collection of cell phones was found in his apartment.

According to testimony of Homeland Security Agent Herman Wittliff, Al-Hardan had been learning how to make electronic transmitters to detonate explosive devices.

Federal agents started communicating with Al-Hardan in June 2014 through an undercover informant, when he voiced interest in traveling to Syria to fight with ISIS and said he wanted to become a martyr. The informant watched Al Hardan take a loyalty oath to the Islamic State and train with an AK-47 rifle, according to the Washington Times.

“I want to blow myself up. I want to travel with the Mujahidin. I want to travel to be with those who are against America. I am against America,” Al-Hardan wrote.

Al-Hardan also began communicating with another Iraqi refugee living in California, Aws Mohammed Younis Al-Jayab, 23, who is also in trouble for lying to immigration authorities.

Al-Jayab is an Iraqi-born Palestinian, who came to the U.S. in 2012 from Syria as a teenage refugee. He went back to the Middle East, flying from Chicago to Turkey on November 9, 2013, then traveled to Syria and stayed through January 2014. He told immigration authorities he just went to Turkey to visit his grandmother.

Prosecutors charged he joined a group affiliated with ISIS. Al-Jayab and Al-Hardan discussed getting weapons training and going back to Syria to fight alongside ISIS.

Al-Jayab is currently in jail in Chicago on charges of trying to join a terrorist group.

Al-Hardan will be sentenced on January 17, and faces up to 20 years in federal prison.
