U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in Brownsville found a missing girl over the weekend and apprehended several individuals on outstanding warrants in separate incidents, according to a press release.

At the Veterans’ International Bridge on Saturday, CBP officers used a database to identify a 16-year-old girl as a person reported missing from Brownsville. She was turned over to the Brownsville Police Department.

Also on Saturday, a U.S. citizen living in Matamoros was arrested at the Gateway International Bridge as he crossed into the United States. CBP officers confirmed he was wanted out of Houston for a violation of probation in a marijuana possesion case. The press release identified the man as 29-year-old Luis Mario Arcos.

On Friday, CBP officers arrested 34-year-old Flor Estella Izaguirre, of San Benito, at the B&M International Bridge. A database check identified her as a possible match to an active arrest warrant later confirmed to be out of Harris County. She was turned her over to the U.S. Marshal’s Service pending extradition, the release said.

Another wanted person was arrested by CBP officers Sunday at the Gateway International Bridge. Mauricio Hernandez, 35, an American residing in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, was wanted by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office in Fargo, N.D.

Hernandez’s outstanding warrant was for conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a felon, the release said. He was turned over to the Cameron County Sheriff’s Office pending extradition.
