Child-sex fugitive found in N.Va. deported

A Salvadoran man who fled to the United States to avoid charges of sexually assaulting children under his care and was found in Northern Virginia and has been deported back to his home country.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials arrested 37-year-old Jose Mauricio Huezo-Ortega at his home in Falls Church in September 2012.

Authorities say he fled to the U.S. in 2009 to avoid charges stemming from the sexual assault of five minor children under his care of the Love and Hope Children's Home in San Salvador. A spokeswoman was not sure whether Huezo-Ortega was employed while in Northern Virginia.

Huezo-Ortega was sent back to El Salvador on Monday.
