2 MILLION illegal workers to be deported before arrival of 1.5 million legal workers

Illegal workers to be deported before arrival of Bangladeshi workers

Ahmad Zahid said approximately 1.5 million workers from Bangladesh would be brought to Malaysia in stages over three years to meet the demands of employers from various sectors.

TAWAU: Home Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi today said his ministry had intensified efforts to deport all illegal foreign workers to their countries of origin before bringing approximately 1.5 million workers from Bangladesh to Malaysia.

He said the ministry, through the Immigration Department, police, RELA and other agencies, had also intensified their cooperation to carry out joint enforcement to flush out illegal foreign workers in the peninsula, as well as in Sabah and Sarawak.

"Before we bring in 1.5 million legal workers from Bangladesh, we will first take the illegal ones out, who now numbered about two million in the job market.

"In the meantime, we will also seek cooperation from the embassies of the countries involved," he told a press conference after attending the Inculcation of Good Values
Programme with the ministry's staff here today.

The minister said the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's effort to bring in the Bangladeshi workers was aimed at meeting the demands of employers in the plantation, construction, manufacturing and service sectors.

"Therefore, the matter should not be
politicised...it will not be an uncontrolled dumping of foreign workers because we will take out all illegal foreign workers first before bringing in those with complete documents.

    "There is no country that
allow foreign workers to work without valid documents or to stay longer than their visa validity," he said.

Last Thursday, Ahmad Zahid said approximately 1.5 million workers from Bangladesh would be brought to Malaysia in stages over three years to meet the demands of employers from various sectors.

MALACCA, June 25, 2015:The recruitment of Bangladeshi workers, from one-stop centres, will be conducted online by employers once Malaysia signs a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bangladesh next month. The MoU, which will be signed on July 18, to recruit 1.5 million Bangladeshi workers to Malaysia in the span of three-years.“It is timely to change the labour supply pattern where the recruitment of the workers are done online to prevent mistreatment,” Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said to reporters here today. With an increasing demand for foreign labourers by Malaysian employers, he said Bangladesh — which supplies 18,000 of its people to Malaysia each year via a government to government labour supply system — will see 500,000 of her workers coming in annually when the MoU is signed. This comes after Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina agreed on the matter after the country’s Expatriate Welfare Minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain came down Kuala Lumpur with a seven-strong delegation on Tuesday to discuss the matter. However, the country had also set four conditions which includes providing insurance protection, centralised accommodation facilities, salaries sent via e-wallet and safety protection and accommodation assured to Bangladeshi workers.“We want them (the workers) to go through basic training either in 71 training centres or 82 district training centres in return.”The workers will be employed in farming, construction and service sectors.

Well, it may very well be sane in Malaysia. It's certainly a great example of what can and should be done, to reserve jobs for citizens and legal residents.

IMO we can't apply it directly to the United States, because we don't actually need any immigrants at all. Americans are entering the labor force at a level which is below normal, wages are stagnant, and even our STEM graduates are having difficulty getting STEM jobs.

What *we* actually need right now is a moratorium on immigration, while we work out a rational plan that is actually in our best interest.

For America to display sanity we need to secure ports and borders, pass and enforce vigorously e-verify, and last but most important deport all, that is every one, of alien illegals regardless of age, tenure of staying here, or method of arrival! Indefinite moratorium with 10 years minimum on immigration, certainly! That would seem like sanity in USA's government.

Don't hold your breath, there has been no sanity applied in our immigration policies for at least three decades. There seems to be no political appetite for it even yet. Do not attempt to convince me that the game playing is serious political action. It is, as it has been for 30 years, appeasement to shut down the massive objections to just being some objections without strength. It works, because it surely appears already that the electorate is going to elect more of the same again in 2016. For myself, I've had enough abuse from government, I will not play games. Vote against all of them is what I do!

I keep telling people to not stay home. Go vote but make it a write in vote. That way the Marxist "news" media and the RINO "expects" can not say low number of votes was public laziness or bad weather. It will be right there "none of the above." I think Jeff Sessions would be a good write in. Sessions is notorious for his unrelenting efforts to stop illegal immigration. Write in Sessions and the message will be sent loud and clear.
