3 Million Foreigners in the Country Illegally



Khartoum - Directorate General of Passport and Immigration confirmed the state's interest in the registration and control of aliens, revealing the presence of about 53 thousand foreigners legally, while the number of illegal presence estimated to 3 million foreigners.

Director of Directorate General of Passport and Immigration, Major General (Police) Ahmed Atta Al-Mannan said that the state is sponsoring foreigners registration project, pointing to the formation of a committee of the Ministry of Finance to study the negative economic impact for the presence of the foreigners in the country, pointing out that all the relevant committees work in the development of policies to take the decisions that are required to control foreigners.

He pointed to continue to the registration project, which began in the states of Khartoum, White Nile as the most states of the intensity of southerners, indicating that the expected number of them is 500 thousand, while 167.486 ones were registered.
