5 US Congress members meet with Juárez mayor

Five U.S. Congressional members met Saturday with Juárez Mayor Héctor MurguÃ*a Lardizábal in Juárez, offering assistance toward public safety and economic improvement, local officials said.

Rep. Connie Mack, R-Fla., chairman of the House Subcommittee of the Western Hemisphere, Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, Rep. Francisco Canseco, R-Texas, and Rep. Mary Bono Mack, R-Calif., were in attendance.

U.S. Consul General Dean Hass also was on hand for the meeting held at the U.S. Consulate in Juárez.

Currently, there are more than 60 million people in Mexico living in poverty, MurguÃ*a told the congressmen.

MurguÃ*a added unemployment, tax disparity and public safety issues are afflicting Juárez.

According to a press release issued by Juárez City Hall, lawmakers committed to take these matters before Congress and seek aid for Juárez.

Oh, we give them MORE of our money so that they can sit on their lazy butts and continue to let their own country fall apart? And just where is this money going to come from? Well lets see.........the illegals in USA are getting welfare benefits while working under the table and are already sending it straight into Mexico. And what has all that money from the USA done to "improve" Mexico?? NOTHING! They have NO intention to get their country together no matter how much American money they get handed. Now our Congress members want to give them even more??? This is an OUTRAGE, we MUST stop this insanity!!

THIS IS BS AND WE THE PEOPLE NEED TO PUT A STOP TO THIS NOW JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT YOU HEARD IT ALL.
