93 Sex offenders illegally cross the border every single day

One Reporter's Opinion: Illegal Alien Sex Crimes
    George Putnam
    Friday, June 16, 2006

It is this reporter's opinion that aside from all of the well-known violations of our sovereign society, illegal aliens are guilty of 1 million sex crimes a year. Based on a one-year in-depth study, the Violent Crimes Institute in Atlanta estimates there are about 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the United States who have had an average of four victims each.

The study analyzed 1,500 cases from January 1999 through April 2006 and included serial rapes, serial murders, sexual homicides and child molestation committed by illegals. The offenders located in 36 states topping the list are in California, followed by Texas, Arizona, New Jersey, New York and Florida.

The study arrives at the figure of 240,000 offenders, a conservative estimate, through public records showing that about 2 percent of illegals apprehended are sex offenders. This translates to 93 sex offenders and 12 serial sex offenders coming across our borders illegally each and every day.

The study of the 1,500 cases shows a total of 5,999 victims and each sex offender averaging four victims. This places the estimate for victimization numbers around 960,000 for the 88 months examined in the study. Breaking down the 1,500 cases reviewed, this figures as follows:

525, or 35 percent child molesters

    Of the child molestations,
47 percent of the victims were Hispanic,
    36 percent Caucasian,
    8 percent Asian,
    6 percent African-American, and
    3 percent other nationalities.

    358, or 24 percent rapes

617, or 41 percent sexual homicides and serial murders

The victims ranged in age from 1 to 13 years, with the average age being 6! Not only were the victims raped, but 6 percent were also mutilated! The crime scenes were bloody, indicating angry perpetrator personalities. Most of the victims were rendered incapable of fighting back, then raped and murdered. The most common method of killing was bludgeoning, followed by stabbing.

It is significant that the illegal immigrants gained access to the victims after having worked as a day laborer near the victims' homes. Especially disturbing is the fact that in 22 percent of the sex crimes committed by these illegals, the victims were targeted because of their physical and mental disabilities.

The highest number of sex offenders, according to the study, came from Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Nicaragua and Puerto Rico. Sixty-three percent of the sex offenders had been deported on another offense prior to the sex crime. Most of them had previous arrests for DUI, assault or drug-related offenses prior to the apprehension for sex offenses. Eighty-one percent drank or used drugs prior to offending.

Rapists and killers are more likely to use alcohol and drugs consistently. Seventy-nine percent had been in the U.S. for more than a year before being arrested for a sex crime, and the shocker is that a vast majority had been known to the criminal justice system for prior offenses before they molested, raped or murdered.

The study concludes that the illegals commit worse crimes and are continually released back into society or deported. But those deported simply return illegally again and again.

All of this is taking place in spite of the fact that unlawful entry into our nation has been a crime since 1929. Since that year, illegal entry into the U.S. has been a federal crime. The penalty for a first offense: up to six months in jail or prison and/or a fine. But the charge has been rarely used even when illegals are caught at the border. This, according to a Congressional Research Service Report.

The laws are on the books. Are the president, Congress and judicial system aware of that?

The tragedy of it all is that these criminals are repeat offenders! And while our American troops are fighting to protect those abroad, American citizens are being violated at home.

Pay attention folks, because these are the people our president and senate want to legalize. For every illegal immigrants that has been caught and convicted, there are probably 3 more walking our streets that have avoided being caught.
