Alabama's 'Clergy Criminalization Act' prohibits helping illegal immigrants

Effective Sept. 1, ministers in Alabama will be prohibited from assisting illegal immigrants, including offering them rides, hiring undocumented workers or renting to them under the state’s new immigration bill passed in June.

I don't know about giving them a ride to church, there are rumored to be some congregations that are actively invovled with the undergroud railroad that brings them in.
One christian fellow that I know had an entire storage facility built and just a couple of years and he seemed o have a lot of livie in, meaning living at the worksite, help when he got back from his ministry trips, in his big RV, to Mexico and Guatamala.
