    Immigration reform is always a hot topic on the campaign trail, but once the votes are cast little is done to resolve the issue.

    Voters are waiting to see if this year's midterm election cycle will be different.

    Candidates toss accusations about opponents supporting general amnesty for illegal immigrants or tout their support for a border fence, but few offer concrete ideas for solving the problem.
