Why don't these kids speak fluent Spanish, since undoubtedly that is all that is spoken at home? Probably because mom is so uneducated she can't speak fluent Spanish either. These kids will be able to get along just fine in Hidalgo. And I would be very happy to have tax dollars fund English-Spanish dictionaries for all those kids.
Walking 30 minutes to the closest town--the horrors! Fresh air and exercise are good to get rid of all the body fat gained from eating too much junk food in this country.

My kids go out hiking with us all the time. In fact, one of our favorite hikes is an 8 mile total hike, UP to a waterfall at the base of a glacier on Mount Hood, which my youngest, the first time she did this one was 9. Two miles is nothing.

It is all a bunch of boohooing to get sympathy, they just don't want to leave their lives of luxuries and freebies here.

BOO HOO! A whole 30 minute walk? I walk to my daughter's school and back EVERYDAY, which is about 45 minutes, then when my wife gets home, we take the dog for a walk which is about an hour. I would like to know how fat this family is that they have the audacity to complain about a measly 30 minute walk.
