If Mexico wants to throw out Americans and send them home, I have no problem with that. They're a sovereign nation with every right to do so.

When looking at the statistics of "Americans" living in Mexico, we have to be careful about exactly who they are talking about. Remember that many people in the US are not really citizens at all. Many people who falsely claim citizenship don't even speak English. Especially murder victims. How many of these victims are cartel related, or themselves cartel members who claim citizenship?

Oh yes, that's a good point, pkskyali. But then they're also Mexican citizens, so I don't think they can throw out Mexican nationals, just US citizens that do not have dual citizenship.
It's just a phony threat to begin with. They want every dime they can get from an American with a "check".A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation - Ronald Reagan

Different scenario but read welfare checks are sent to mexico and children from mexico are taken across the border everyday for school in US...guess the kids were born here and taken back to mexico rather than live here.

The whole notion of "dual citizenship" is another issue that needs to be confronted. Nobody who claims US citizenship should be able to claim citizenship in another country. The oath of citizenship is proof of this:

I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any ...,state, or sovereignty, of ... which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; ...Support ALIPAC'sFIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn

We need to vote with our wallets. Buy NOTHING Made in Mexico. Cripple the corrupt President of Mexico...we will not stand for the invasion of our Country anymore...or your extortion!
This Christmas season...buy nothing from Mexico and for the entire year of 2017.
We are boycotting Kellogg, Nabisco, Ford and any other company moving our jobs...add "Made in Mexico" to the list!
The Silent Majority needs to keep "the movement" going! It is not OVER until every illegal is deported and no one steps foot on our soil without legal documents.
Copy and paste FB and all your friends...get the word out.ILLEGAL ALIENS HAVE "BROKEN" OUR IMMIGRATION SYSTEM

Americans are already being persecuted in Mexico by the racist Raza unless you are wealthy enough to live in one of the stronghold neighborhoods of the elites or the very touristy areas.

I have wondered how Americans in Mexico were being treated.
We considered retiring there. The rules are a little tougher than just walking across the bridge.
You had to prove you had a certain guaranteed income, would not attempt to work, take only a certain amount of household goods, could not own property within 100 miles of the coast or border. I believe that issue can be worked out by partnering with a Mexican attorney. I can't remember all of them and it was over 20 years ago - but at the time I considered the way they pretend they expect us to allow their people to exploit ours in so many ways.
A friend who had people in Mexico says people there like to live in the cities where the cartel honchos live. They say they have great schools, churches, playgrounds, no crime. The cartel keeps it nice for their own families, so it works for others as wel.
So find out where the cartel lives ----
