I'm sending this entire group of articles off to Bill Oreilly, Lou Dobbs, Greta VanSusteren, Glenn Beck and Jerry Rivers (aka Geraldo Rivera) since he says 'illegal has nothing to do with it'. THIS little boy would be alive today if not for this illegal dirtbag's presence in this country.

now that its official thet the driver is an illegal immigrant I think it is time to spread the word to the mass media.

Notice how the local media refers to this illegal alien child killing drunk
with no license, insurance, and a stolen car as "in the country illegally"
The local DA and Judges want to bury this.
Yeah, and we also need to know HIS COUNTRY OF ORIGIN!

Hit & Run Driver Charged With Murder
By Richard Saunders, The Raleigh Chronicle
RALEIGH - According to the NC Highway Patrol, a man accused of hit and run in a case that resulted in the death of a seven year old boy has now been charged with murder.

On Thursday, Lt. Everett Clendenin of the NC Highway Patrol announced that Hipolito Zamora Hernandez, age 29, had also been charged with second degree murder in the case, after the victim died at the hospital.

Hernandez is accused by police of running over seven year old Marcus Lassiter in Johnston County on Sunday. After the incident, police said that Hernandez ran away from the scene of the accident. Hernandez was also suspected of being under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident and in addition to the murder charge, also faces charges of DUI, hit and run, driving with no operator's license, and reckless driving.

According to a report that appeared today in the News & Observer, Hernandez failed to appear in court in December on a previous DUI charge. He had been charged with DUI four times previously, said the newspaper.

The Sheriff of Johnston County had some strong words in regards to this case.

"Here we have an illegal Mexican, driving drunk, with no operator's license, in a stolen vehicle and hit a little 7 year old boy," Sheriff Steve Bizzell said to NBC17. "As sheriff, I'm tired of that. The citizens are tired of it. They either need to get legal and straighten up, quick driving drunk or go home. In this case, we're going to help him do so."

Sheriff Bizzell told NBC17 that his department was not trying to deport illegal immigrants per se, but that his department is partnering with immigration officials in an effort to deport those are indeed breaking criminal laws.

The status of Hernandez as a citizen of the United States has not been determined yet and police officials have told the media that they are currently running his fingerprints with immigration officials.

    Judge denies hearing for hit-and-run suspectThursday, April 24, 2008 | 8:50 PM

SMITHFIELD -- A suspect charged in a fatal hit-and-run attempted to get out of jail Thursday.

A judge denied the suspect's request Thursday in a Johnston County court.
Hipolito Hernandez is accused of killing a 7-year-old child while driving drunk.

He's charged with second-degree murder for the death of Marcus Lassiter.
Hernandez's attorney pleaded with the judge saying, "Your honor, he's being held under a high bond and we're here. We request a hearing at this time."

The judge denied that request and set a new court date for May 22.
Lassiter's family has reportedly vowed to attend every court appearance until Hernandez is sentenced.

Hernandez initially gave authorities a fake name, raising suspicions he might be an illegal immigrant, but Immigration and Customs Enforcement has yet to release his immigration status.
