You may have heard about the shooting in Milwaukee over the Memorial Day weekend.

Even in America's volatile, crime-infested urban areas, it's not every day that a guy goes on a firearms rampage, killing two and injuring three others.

The suspect's name is Octaviano Juarez-Corro.

Yes, he was in the U.S. illegally when he spilled all this blood and created all this mayhem. Yes, he is one of those Mexican illegal immigrants we're told will do the work Americans wouldn't do. And, yes, like so many other violent and wanted fugitives in the U.S., he is believed to be back in Mexico – safe from extradition to barbaric America where he could, of course, face the death penalty.

Police sort of assume he's in Mexico. It only makes sense. He's from Mexico. And Mexico, our good friend and ally, as President Bush refers to it, would offer him a certain amount of protection from U.S. law enforcement authorities.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported it this way: ''The majority of people wanted on homicide warrants in Milwaukee are suspected of being in Mexico, according to files from the police department and prosecutors.''

Let me remind you, this is Milwaukee, Wis. – not Los Angeles, not San Diego, not El Paso. I've reported many times that 95 percent of the felony warrants in L.A. are for illegal immigrants – many or most of whom are probably back in Mexico or some other Latin American refuge from justice. But Wisconsin? That's how far the tentacles of violent street crime perpetrated by illegal aliens have spread throughout this country. Let me repeat: ''The majority of people wanted on homicide warrants in Milwaukee are suspected of being in Mexico, according to files from the police department and prosecutors.''

The Milwaukee newspaper goes on to explain the phenomenon: ''Because of a 1978 treaty and a 2001 court ruling, Mexico generally has refused to return suspects to the United States if they face the death penalty or a life-without-parole sentence, paving the way for thousands of suspected drug kingpins and killers to flee to Mexico to avoid U.S. prosecution. Treaties let the U.S. get fugitives from other countries that, like Mexico, do not allow the death penalty, but fugitives don't flee to those countries in significant numbers, officials said this year when the Journal Sentinel examined the issue.''

By the way, the percentages in Milwaukee are nearly as staggering as they are in Los Angeles. Of the 23 suspects wanted on homicide or attempted homicide charges, 20 are illegal aliens suspected of being back in Mexico or some other Latin American country.

Mexico makes it very difficult even to apply for extradition. It is a time-consuming process and expensive – costing U.S. prosecutors thousands of dollars for each case. And it takes several months even to get an answer – which is usually ''no.''

Raymundo Munoz-Silva, 31, and Julio C. Diaz-Guillen, 17, are lying cold and dead today because of the actions of this monster who is above all the laws of the U.S. Illegal aliens enjoy a kind of ''diplomatic immunity'' for the crimes they commit in the U.S. Who, in their right mind, would want to become a U.S. citizen, a taxpayer, a legal, documented resident and lose this valuable get-out-of-jail-free card?

It is simply stunning to me that so many of our elected leaders in Washington don't see continued illegal immigration as the No. 1 security threat to this nation. It's not only the political terrorists we have to fear. It is the people who terrorize our major cities and rural areas alike – monsters like Juarez-Corro.

How can President Bush continue to pretend that Mexico is ''our friend'' when it knowingly, maliciously unleashes killers on us and then protects them from the arm of justice?

How can President Bush sleep at night while pandering to his globalist friends and Big Business allies who pay for their cheap labor with the blood of innocent Americans?

How can President Bush mention the word ''compassion'' in connection with his immigration and border policies when he is allowing, condoning and encouraging more violent lawbreaking by unaccountable foreign invaders?

    Who is in control?

This once again illustrates the lack of compassion, care and concern for the safety and well being of Americans. The jackass in the White House and jackasses in the Senate's recent treatment of veterans is reflected in his disdain for all Americans. They don't give one g-d damn iota about us as their plan is to try to get rid of as many Americans as possible in any manner to make more resources available for their Latino brothers and sisters. Ever wonder why Vincente Bush refuses to protect the border or institute any other measures to protect Americans?

How can he sleep at night? Easy. He has guards to protect HIS family from the masses of illegal alien murderers, rapists, child molesters, carjackers and home invasion robbers that he has unleashed on America.
He has no fear for his family's safety, he's protected by a fence to keep intruders out, the same kind of fence he says will not work to protect American's lives. When his family has to endure the same fear for their lives maybe he might do something to protect us from the invasion of criminal, felon, lawless scum he is allowing to invade America. Until then, he will allow us to live in fear for our lives and safety from his so-called "family values, honest, hardworking, law abiding neighbors" from the south.

Suspect in park shooting was legal resident, Mexican citizen

    Associated Press

MILWAUKEE - The man charged with shooting two people to death and wounding three others, including his estranged wife, at a park on Memorial Day was in the United States legally, officials said Monday.

Octaviano Juarez-Corro, 32, had a green card and was considered a legal and permanent U.S. resident, said U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Gail Montenegro. Local officials had described him as an illegal immigrant.

Officials suspect Juarez-Corro may have fled to Mexico, where he is a citizen, but have no confirmation, said Milwaukee Police Capt. Tim Burkee.

"We don't know for sure because we don't have good intelligence there," Burkee said. "And we don't have the legal authority to go into Mexico and get him even if we have a warrant."

Juarez-Corro was charged on Friday with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and three counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide in last Monday's shooting at South Shore Park along Lake Michigan.

He was accused of killing Raymundo Silva, 31, and Julio Diaz-Guillen, 17, both of Milwaukee, and wounding Eunice Torres, 23, his estranged wife; Jose Saavedra, 21; and Everardo Munoz, 34.

Authorities suspect the shooting was related to a pending divorce with Torres and his desire to see the couple's 3-year-old daughter, who was at the picnic with her mother.
