Appeals court blocks Pa. city's immigration law

Appeals court blocks Pa. city's immigration law
    By MICHAEL RUBINKAM (AP)

ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A federal appeals court has largely upheld a ruling that Hazleton, Pa., may not enforce its crackdown on illegal immigrants.

The decision Thursday by an appeals court deals a blow to regulations that inspired copycat measures around the nation, including Arizona.

The northeastern Pennsylvania city had sought to deny business permits to companies that employ illegal immigrants, fine landlords who rent to them and require legal tenants to register and pay for a rental permit.

Hispanic groups and illegal immigrants had sued to overturn the laws, saying they usurped the federal government's exclusive power to regulate immigration. The laws were never enforced.

The federal government not only doesn't have exclusive authority over immigration, it has NO AUTHORITY over immigration EXCEPT to stop it, tax it and protect our states from invasion of it.

For the IDIOT TRAITORS on the Federal Appeals Court:

Article 1, Section 9, US Constitution:

    Section 9.

The migration or importation of such persons as any of the states now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight, but a tax or duty may be imposed on such importation, not exceeding ten dollars for each person.
States have sole authority on the number of immigrants and imported workers they think proper to admit, subject only to any prohibition the federal government make invoke.

Under no circumstance within any realm of our US Constitution can the federal government shove any immigrant or imported laborer down the throats of the states. Not One.

Take it back States. Get the right arguments to the courts using the right sections of the US Constitution.

Article IV, Section 4, US Constitution:

The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.
It could not be more clear. Immigration is a states right, reserved by the US Constitution, and the protection of states by the US government against illegal invasions is a guaranteed obligation of the federal government and failure to comply is a breach of the US Constitution by treason and dereliction of duty rising to the level of claims for damages and redress of grievances that are the consequence of that failure.

It is as crystal clear as it could ever be. Now demand compliance or impeach these reptiles.
