FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Two brothers arrested as part of a raid of a chain of Mexican restaurants and businesses in northwest Arkansas have received short prison sentences.

Authorities say 35-year-old Arturo Reyes Jr. and his brother, 33-year-old Armando Reyes, each pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges stemming from the raid at the Acambaro Mexican Restaurant chain and other businesses.

Arturo Reyes was sentenced to six months in prison, with credit for three months served, and fined $5,000 during a hearing Monday. Armando Reyes was sentenced to five months in prison and a $5,000 fine.

Two others arrested, 36-year-old Silvia Reyes and 33-year-old Lucila Huaracha, received three years probation and fines.

Authorities say all four are illegal immigrants who face deportation.

The raid was conducted by a taskforce of local police officers overseen by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
