Fabens CBP Officers Make Huge Marijuana Seizure

Fabens, Texas - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers working at the Fabens port of entry seized 754 pounds of marijuana Saturday. It was one of seven drug busts totaling 1,337 pounds made by area CBP officers this weekend. "Smugglers left no void empty in sending this vehicle across the border," said CBP Fabens Port Director Donna Sifford. (more)

Mexican National Arrested In Nogales For Smuggling Drugs In Transmission

Nogales, Ariz. - Customs and Border Protection officers at Dennis DeConcini Port arrested a male Mexican national living in Tucson for attempting to smuggle more than five pounds of cocaine and eight pounds of methamphetamine into the United States. . (more)

Nogales, Ariz. - A large number of live and dead insect specimens, as well as more than two dozen live plants, were seized last week in a pair of incidents by Customs and Border Protection agriculture specialists working at the Nogales Ports of Entry. (more)

CBP Officers In Southern Arizona Thwart Three Smuggling Attempts

San Luis, Ariz. - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers here seized more than $1.3 million in hard drugs during the weekend from two women and a man in separate incidents. Yuma resident Manuel Rodriguez-Guerrero, 69, was arrested Saturday after officers found more than 13 pounds of methamphetamine inside his vehicle. (more)
