AZ - Court won't reconsider ruling in sanctions case
Court won't reconsider ruling in sanctions case
By JACQUES BILLEAUD- A federal appeals court that last year upheld Arizona's employer sanctions law has denied a request to reconsider its ruling.
The order Monday by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals denied a request by business groups to have the full court consider the case. The three-judge panel that upheld the law in September also denied a request to reconsider arguments.
The employer sanctions law penalizes businesses that knowingly hire illegal immigrants and requires them to verify the employment status of their workers.
Business and civil rights groups contend the law infringes on federal immigration powers, while lawyers for the state said the state is permitted to take actions against those who knowingly hire illegal immigrants.

It sure is refreshing to have these cases resolved .
Now if law enforcement could get out there and enforce the laws I voted for without the fear of being sued .
I really believe our only chance is at state and local level illegal immigration enforcement .
The federal government is trying their best to undermine the progress we the people of of Arizona have made .
Its shameful .
So far , many of our elected public servants have stood strong with our wishes that they Enforce Immigration laws already on the books . We in the state have to vote for laws that pretty much already exist on the federal level and then be harassed in the courts , When will the open border illegal symps realize Arizona is not and will not be a stepping stone for Illegal Aliens ?
Quite simply Attrition by Enforcement .
It is pr oven that it works and it is federal law already written .
Its a no brainier . We know it . and we Will Stand for Nothing Less .
Weather it be Washington or la raza or the aclu , we are going to win this fight .
