Yuma, Arizona - A Mexican national arrested by Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents in April was sentenced this week to more than nine years in prison following a guilty plea to illegal entry after deportation.

Five months ago, Border Patrol agents arrested Rodolfo Lopez-Gonzalez, 58, near the Colorado River. Following his illegal entry, it was discovered Lopez-Gonzalez had just completed a 63-month sentence for illegal entry 17 days earlier. He was also previously convicted of burglary, robbery and possession of a controlled substance.

U.S. District Court Judge David G. Campbell sentenced Lopez-Gonzalez to 109 months in federal prison.

The more that are in prison, the more cheap labor for companies contracting with the prisons for cheap labor only now the government gets their share instead of the money being made under the table. It looks like he might get to be government prison contract labor making about $023 an hour. JMO
