Border Patrol: Freezing Temperatures Don’t Stop Illegals

Border Patrol Says Freezing Temperatures Don’t Stop Illegals

    Reported by: Camaron Abundes
    Last Update: 7:14 pm

MISSION - Even these freezing temperatures may not keep illegal immigrants from trying to cross the Rio Grande. Border Patrol agents say the illegals may be getting bad advice.

Border Patrol agents never want to see people crossing into the country illegally, but they say now is one of those times when it's especially dangerous.

Using a temperature gauge for swimming pools, the temperature of the river at Chimney Park reads about 60 degrees.

The problem is someone swimming may run into problems once they get out of the water or if they're on a raft they may fall in.

You may think this kind of weather may deter people from crossing, but Border Patrol agents tell us otherwise.

"The cold weather doesn't deter them. Smugglers may tell them that it's a good time to cross because we don't patrol. That's not the case. We are out there and we have a job to do,â€

Border Patrol Says Freezing Temperatures Don’t Stop Illegals:
That is correct! Those people will walk many days, hungry and thirsty to arrive to America...Cold or hot weather, it dose not matter.
When you aid and support criminals, you live a criminal life style yourself:
