BREAKING: Trump Appoints Head of Immigration Team… Illegals, Liberals HORRIFIED

The architect of Arizona’s SB 1070, considered by many the strictest anti-illegal-immigration law passed in recent history, has been tapped to provide consultation to President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team, and both illegal immigrants and their liberal supporters were horrified.

“I’m a member of the immigration policy transition team, and there’s going to be a lot to do there, in part because Mr. Trump and Mr. Obama are diametrical opposites when it comes to immigration policy, so there will be a lot of changes,” Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach told Wichita news station KWCH last week.

This was horrifying news for illegal immigrants but a breath of fresh air for die-hard patriots who believed in national sovereignty and rule of law.

As an immigration hardliner, Kobach reportedly has no patience for deferred deportations and/or amnesty.

According to The Washington Post, “He has helped shepherd dozens of restrictive (illegal) immigration measures at the state and local levels across the country and is known for his affiliation with the Immigration Reform Law Institute.”

Moreover, he has opposed all efforts to hand illegal immigrants amnesty and reportedly played a role in the lawsuits filed years ago challenging President Barack Obama’s executive action on illegal immigration.

The guy did not play any games about his fierce beliefs, and as a result liberals were in a tizzy whining over his allegedly “extremist” views, with the leftists at the Daily Kos blog going so far as to accuse him of having authored America’s “racist law.”

Except that there was nothing remotely racist about SB 1070, which did nothing more than grant police officers the right to question a suspect’s immigration status. Considering how many illegal immigrants were hiding out in Arizona, the law seemed plenty fair.

The fact is that Kobach is neither a racist nor an extremist; he is a man who believes in the law — namely the law that says it is illegal and thus a criminal act for a foreign citizen to cross over into America without proper permission.
Nothing more. Nothing less.

A great pick.

Would Kobach be a good candidate to serve as Secretary of Homeland Security? Maybe so. He's legal-wise, he's committed to fixing this problem, and loyal to our country and citizens.

Kris Kobach has a very impressive education:

he earned his bachelor of arts degree in Government from Harvard University, graduating first in his class in that department with summa cum laude. He was awarded a Marshall Scholarship, which allowed him to study politics at Oxford University and earn a Master of Arts degree in 1990 and a Ph.D. in 1992. He then attended Yale Law School, where he earned a Juris Doctor degree in 1995

WOW!! That is an excellent education and he has used it for good to help our country. Maybe he should be head of DHS.

Hadn't heard that. Just heard he was either considering it or was being considered for it. I've also heard his hat was in the ring for Attorney General. I guess time will tell.
