Four persons - including the employer of illegal immigrants - were arrested about 10 a.m. Friday, July 25, when a robbery occurred in the 900 block of North Sonora Street. No names were available as of Friday.
The Coolidge Police Department had been watching the residence as a possible drop house for the last three months, according to Geoffrey Pacheco, investigations sergeant. He also noted that throughout the investigation up to 25 to 30 people were in the house at a time. About three weeks ago, investigating officers also were on scene due to probable drug use.
"There has been a lot of late-night activity and in-and-out activity," he said.

Det. Diane De La Rosa commented that individuals she interviewed had fake Social Security cards, fake personal identification as well as fake immigration cards.

Border patrol and animal control also were on scene. CPD officers assisting with the event were Det. Susan Wood, Sgt. Mark Tercero and Officer Travis Froman.

"If that house has any more criminal activity again, we will file forfeiture on that house," Pacheco said.

Located in the house were a drug pipe and well as several backpacks.

So Border Patrol can go how far from the border to get illegal criminals?
