Mexico urges U.S. to review gun laws after Colorado shooting
Mexico urges U.S. to review gun laws after Colorado shooting | Reuters
(Reuters) - Mexican President Felipe Calderon condemned U.S. gun laws as "mistaken" and urged Washington to review them after a shooter killed 12 people and injured more than 50 others at a U.S. movie theater on Friday.
In comments posted on his Twitter account on Saturday, Calderon offered his condolences to the United States after a gunman went on the rampage with an assault rifle at a midnight premier of the new Batman film in Aurora, Colorado.
But Mexico's president, who has repeatedly called on Washington to tighten gun controls to stop weapons flowing from the United States into the hands of Mexican drug cartels, said U.S. weapons policy needed a rethink after the killings.
"Because of the Aurora, Colorado tragedy, the American Congress must review its mistaken legislation on guns. It's doing damage to us all," Calderon said.
The presidency of Calderon, who leaves office at the end of November, has been overshadowed by his efforts to crack down on the drug gangs. Fighting among the cartels and their clashes with the state have killed more than 55,000 people since 2007.
In February, Calderon appealed to the United States to halt the flow of arms by unveiling a massive sign on the Mexican-U.S. border reading "No More Weapons!" The letters on the billboard in the city of Ciudad Juarez were made of recycled guns seized by security forces.
Calderon has also urged Washington to revive a ban on assault weapons in the United States that expired in 2004.
There he goes again, telling the United States what our government should be doing. Who in the heck left him be in charge??

How about his country make a law against whatever weapons they use to behead people? Their criminals dismember people. Let him worry about his own damned people and let us worry about ours.

In Light of Colorado Shootings, Stupid Mexican President Lectures America!
By John W. Lillpop
Since Felipe Calderon has been President of the third-world sewer known as Mexico, drug cartels have killed about 55,000 Mexicans.
Yet this stupid man feels compelled to offer his advice to the advanced nation of America after some whacked out goof ball murders 12 innocents in Colorado.
As reported at the reference:

Got that? 55,000 people have died at the hands of drug cartels in good old Mexico, and this goofy presidente concerns his stupid self with gun laws in America where 12..not twelve thousand!—people were slain.
Note for Felipe: You have presided over the slaughter of 55,000 Mexicans, sir. How many of those hangings, decapitations and savage murders could have been prevented if you had only kept your stupid nose out of America’s business and concentrated more on your failed state?
Please, we do not need a lecture from a certifiable moron. Keep your garbage out of America and keep your nose out as well!

Over 58,000 confirmed murders in Mexico in the past four years and suddenly they are experts on controlling depraved carnage?
And the illegal aliens from Mexico that are here now are demanding 2nd Amendment Rights.
