CBP Weekend Enforcement Activity Tops 100 Incidents

El Paso, Texas – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers working at ports of entry in El Paso, West Texas, and New Mexico identified and stopped more than 100 violations during the past weekend. CBP officers seized drugs, identified immigration violations, apprehended fugitives and confiscated prohibited agriculture items between Friday and Sunday.

One of the more interesting seizures occurred Friday afternoon at the Bridge of the Americas when CBP officers discovered 132 pounds of marijuana concealed in the floorboards of a trailer.
