    "CLEVELAND, TN HOMEOWNER DEMANDS ANSWERS"

This article outlines the growing problems of illegal immigration, illegal aliens, the blind eye of the City of Cleveland, Tennessee, its officials, its law enforcement, judicial oversight, etc.

The recent raid by DEPT. OF HOMELAND SECURITY, CODE ENFORCEMENT OF CLEVELAND, TENNESSEE on the home providing residence to employees of NEW CHINA BUFFET AND GRILL, Treasury Drive, CLEVELAND, TN is another example of growing problems and law breaking.

Is it also true that city officials rent to and or hire "ILLEGAL ALIENS" in CLEVELAND, TENNESSEE?

Is it true that the Ocoee Regional Multicultural Services Center assists illegal aliens with cooperation from CLEVELAND, TN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, BB&T, LIFECARE, LEE UNIVERSITY and others who may benefit from ILLEGAL ALIENS?

Is it true there is at least one or more DAY LABOR SITES in CLEVELAND, TENNESSEE? One location is said to be on GEORGETOWN ROAD.

CLEVELAND, TENNESSEE IS HOME TO CATNAPPER, JACKSON MANUFACTURING, MAYCOR, TO NAME A FEW. Is it true they may be employing huge numbers of ILLEGAL ALIENS?

Judge SHERIDAN RANDOLPH is sitting on the bench when most of these cases come up for review. Is it true that CLEVELAND, TN is practicing "CATCH AND RELEASE?"

Otis Eaton put up a fence at his home for the sake of his grandchildren. He wanted to make sure they were safe and out of harm's way when they played outside. On March 24, that fence proved to be no match for an out of control car driven by a man whom police say was drunk.

The car plowed through the wire fence and came to a stop just a few feet away from the front steps to Eaton's home on Club Drive. When Eaton heard the commotion, he thought someone had wrecked down the street. He was shocked to discover the crash had occurred right in his own front yard. Eaton says he was even more shocked by what the driver did when Eaton approached the vehicle. "He put the car in reverse and tried to ram his way out of the yard," Eaton told the Bradley News. But he didn't get very far. The man's blue Geo Storm became lodged in the corner section of the fence. Literally cornered and caught red-handed, Eaton says the driver jumped from the vehicle and ran from the scene. Police were not surprised by the reason the man wanted to get away. They say he is an illegal alien. The CPD's incident report shows Everado Valezquez had no driver's license or form of identification, no registration and no insurance. What he did have in his vehicle, according to authorities, was a 12-pack of beer. Three weeks later, Otis Eaton says he feels violated and betrayed. To his dismay, Valezquez appeared before a judge and was released on $1,500 bond. His next court date is set for June 22. The questions Eaton and everyone else in his neighborhood are asking now are - why did authorities allow Valezquez to post bond and why aren't steps being taken to deport him? The answers to those questions, unfortunately, are very complicated. Valezquez was allowed to post bond because authorities are required to treat him like a legal citizen. A judge in a case such as this apparently is not allowed to ask the individual whether he is here illegally. Therefore, whether he is legal or not is not taken into consideration. The Bradley News was told by county officials that the only way Valezquez could have been denied bond was if a hold had been placed on him. In other words, the only way they could hold him for deportation was if he had a prior criminal offense. In this case, apparently Everado Valezquez did not. Eaton says Valezquez was driving a car registered to another Hispanic driver. Eaton says he has been told that is commonplace these days. He says he has been told that legal Hispanic drivers are purchasing cars for illegal drivers at some of the easy-credit dealerships in Bradley County. In fact, the Bradley News is looking into claims that a single legal driver can get away with purchasing multiple vehicles at local dealerships. Otis Eaton blames the government for what has happened to him. He believes authorities are not doing enough to keep illegal drivers off the road. "If you are anything but an American, you've got it made in America," said Eaton. The grandfather of nine also thinks the government should pay for his mangled fence. "I didn't do it and the man who did doesn't have insurance," said Eaton, "so I think the government should pay to fix the fence." Eaton's case has gotten the attention of Cleveland Mayor Tom Rowland. Eaton says he has received phone calls from the mayor, who has promised to help Eaton get to the bottom of the problem. Eaton says the mayor told him he was concerned by how easily the illegal driver posted bond.
