Deportation raids to begin Sunday: report

Deportation raids to begin Sunday: report

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents will launch massive raids on Sunday targeting undocumented immigrants scheduled for deportation, The New York Times reported early Thursday, in an operationPresident Trump delayed weeks ago.
The ICE action had been set to take place in 10 major cities and target up to 2,000 immigrants, according to multiple reports.
According to the Times, officials will try to hold detained family members at centers in Texas and Pennsylvania, adding that ICE wants to deport families as quickly as possible.

The newspaper added that other undocumented immigrants caught up in the raids could also be detained.
ICE did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the report.
Trump said in late June that he was temporarily delaying the raids to give Congress time to pass new restrictions on asylum laws, which Democrats who control the House oppose.
Trump earlier this month said the raids would begin after the July 4 holiday.
The acting director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Ken Cuccinelli, told reporters on Wednesday that the raids were “going to happen” but did not provide details.
The raids are the latest hard-line approach taken by the administration to deter migrants from making the journey from Central America to the U.S.
Trump in March threatened to close the southern border unless the flow of migrants was stemmed, eventually striking a deal with Mexico that the Department of Homeland Security has touted as lowering crossings.
Apprehensions dropped 28.5 percent between May and June, suggesting the deal had a major effect on Central American immigration.
Critics, however, say the measures have done little to deter migrants and that the fall in apprehensions is mostly due to the rising heat in the summer months, when migrants are historically less likely to cross into the U.S.
In 2018, the overall apprehensions fell by 17 percent in June, a less significant drop. However, this June still had the most apprehensions since 2004.

DHS has a leaker or the entire thing is a SCAM and is being intentionally leaked in order to be canceled.

This just shows you how WEAK this society and government is INTERNALLY!!!!! This BIG DEAL and DELAY just to round up 2000 families and chuck them. I thought this nation was a SUPER POWER????? HELL NO!!!!! It's a 3rd world dysfunctional cesspool run by the NWO Zionist/Jewish Billionaire class under the Rothschild family of London and it's designed to be INTERNALLY WEAK, but EXTERNALLY STRONG but it's really not externally strong either. We had to bribe our way out of Iraq. We couldn't subdue that nation and it's people so we PAID THEM with crates of $100 bills to settle down so we could exit without a disgraced defeat.

What about the millions of illegals who've been here for years, undercutting American wages in the trades and costing taxpayers billions and billions to birth, feed, educate, and provide health care for their U.S. born children? These are the people having the greatest impact on the "forgotten men and women" of this country, yet not a priory for this president to deport.

We CAN'T EVEN ROUND UP AND DEPORT 10-12 thousand of these people that WE GAVE COMMUNIST LAWYERS to, inorder to litigate their BOGUS ASYLUM CASES and who were told not to even show up for these JOKE LEGAL PROCEEDINGS because they could just stay here!!!!! It's an old story by now and we keep on hearing how these people are going to GO but it never happens. WE ARE A WEAK, DECLINING, DESTROYED SOCIETY internally but our puppet masters who enforce this state of affairs on us, still think we are STRONG EXTERNALLY, which we are not either!!!!! RUSSIA WILL KICK OUR ASS in any war and CHINA will too!!!!! Our military is an OBSOLETE, MULTI-CULTURAL/RACIAL PAPER TIGER and will be defeated instantly. These LUNATICS that rule over us and whom most are afraid to NAME, even anonomously, think they will survive this nation's INSTANT DEFEAT and will recreate a NEW SOCIETY with themselves in 100% control. THEY ARE 100% WRONG and will go down instantly too.

ICE immigration raids to hit 10 cities Sunday, NYT reports, after Trump promised deportations

John Bacon,USA TODAY 18 minutes ago

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will begin a vast roundup of undocumented immigrants in at least 10 major cities this weekend, the The New York Times reported Thursday.
The Times, citing two current and one former Homeland Security official it did not name, said the raids will begin Sunday and target more than 2,000 immigrants facing deportation orders who remain in the country illegally. The sources told the Times that ICE planned to keep family members together at family detention facilities whenever possible.
The report comes as no surprise: Less than a week ago President Donald Trump promised that mass deportation roundups would begin soon
“They’ll be starting fairly soon, but I don’t call them raids, we’re removing people, all of these people who have come in over the years illegally,” Trump said Friday.
Trump said two weeks ago that he would delay nationwide raids for two weeks to give Congress time to develop an immigration plan. Trump's hard line on immigration has been a recurring theme in his presidency and is expected to take center stage in his 2020 reelection bid.
ICE spokesman Matthew Bourke, in a statement emailed Thursday to USA TODAY, would neither confirm nor deny the raid plan.
"Due to law-enforcement sensitivities and the safety and security of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel, the agency will not offer specific details related to enforcement operations," Bourke said.
ICE has consistently maintained that its focus is on people with criminal records but that anyone found to be in the U.S. illegally would face detainment.
"Ninety percent of aliens arrested by ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations component in FY2018 had either a criminal conviction, pending criminal charge, were an ICE fugitive or illegally reentered the country after previously being removed," Bourke said.
ICE officials previously have said they plan to target new arrivals in an effort to stem a surge of Central American families arriving through Mexico. That surge showed some decline in June, when total border arrests fell 29% according to numbers released by Customs and Border Protection. But the decline came after May totals — more than 140,000 arrests — that were the highest since 2006.
The Trump administration credits its escalating series of threats and new policies for the slowdown, although border crossing traditionally declines in the heat of summer.

A government report released last week found that migrants were being held in overcrowded conditions described as “a ticking time bomb." In one room at Customs and Border Protection’s Fort Brown station near the U.S-Mexico border in Texas, 51 women were in a cell with a capacity for 40 juveniles, according to the report from the Department of Homeland Security’s inspector general’s office. In another cell, 71 men were in a cell designated for 41, the report said.
Trump was dismissive of the report, saying the facilities he visited were clean and well run.
“I think they do a great job with those facilities,” Trump said.

The business community sees them as consumers. That's all they care about, more consumers. They don't care who they are or how they got here. Business' don't care if taxpayers have to subsidize these people. They want more consumers and profits. Ironically, liberals complain about human induced climate change and pollution, but yet they want more people, even they if pollute more.
