The neocons are to blame for the 2006 Republican losses.

The reasons voters gave for rejecting Republicans are: (1) the war in Iraq, (2) corruption, and (3) free trade.

The primary reason voters give for repudiating Republicans is the war in Iraq, which itself is a neocon war. Real conservatives always have opposed this Wilsonian nonsense. There is nothing at all conservative about the Jacobin transformation of the Middle East into democracy. It is neoliberal utopianism.

Regarding corruption, neocons have been front and center in all the scandals, whether involving bribes, secret homosexual liaisons, or the treasonous NAFTA superhighway. Ethics, though, are unimportant for neocons; they only care about globalism and power.

Regarding free trade, this lemon cost Republicans in several states. Historically, conservatives have opposed free trade, and they should. It is globalist treason, it undermines our sovereignty, and it is destroying our economy. Many "Bushbots," however, have been "neoconned" on this issue.

Many neocon propagandists in the media (like Bill Kristol and Linda "Aztlan" Chavez) want to say that anti-immigration was a factor, but this is a complete lie. Every single exit poll shows that Iraq, their neocon war, was the fundamental issue. The election was a vote against the war in Iraq, not a vote against immigration reduction.

Roy Beck, of NumbersUSA, has provided a thorough statistical analysis. Of all the Republicans who lost seats in this election, only 6.7% of those lost were by members of Rep. Tom Tancredo's caucus. However, 40.9% of the seats lost were those of pro-amnesty Republicans (whom Americans for Better Immigration gives a grade of 'C' or lower on their Immigration Report Cards). In short, only a few anti-immigration Republicans lost, while almost half of the Republicans losing were pro-amnesty.

Neocons, however, don't care about the truth, and will continue to spread misinformation so long as it furthers their globalist agenda of open-borders, unlimited third-world immigration, big business, and the ultra-liberal North American Union.

Neocons are the real enemies of conservatism. They intentionally hijacked it, and they use its allure to spread their neoliberal agenda. Even Irving Kristol, the "godfather" of the neocons, admitted as much when he said that the purpose of neo-conservatism is "to convert the Republican Party, and American conservatism in general, against their respective wills, into a new kind of 'conservative' politics suitable to governing a modern democracy."

In short, these Trotskyites care nothing about tradition, the sovereignty of the United States, values, kith and kin, blood and soil, and Christianity. And it is why most of them are so actively trying, via immigration, to convert the US into a third-world wasteland.

What should be done? In an ideal world, G.W. Bush, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld should be ousted. Neocon publications like Weekly Standard, American Spectator, Wall Street Journal, First Things, and Commentary should be condemned. Thugs like Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, Bill Kristol and Norman Podhoretz should be expatriated. David Frum, Douglas Feith, and Michael Ledeen should be removed from American soil.

Propagandists like Michael Medved, Charles Krauthammer, Harry Jaffa, Jonah Goldberg, and Richard John Neuhaus should be ostracized. The neocon henchmen like Arlen Specter, John McCain, Condoleezza Rice, Fred Barnes, David Brooks and Andrew "Bareback" Sullivan (all radical left-wing activists in disguise) should be shut out from all discussion. And traitors like Alberto Gonzales, Linda Chavez, Mel Martinez and Carlos Gutierrez should all be deported to Mexico.

Real conservatives (such as you would find at the American Conservative, Chronicles Magazine, or VDare) have always condemned these liberals in disguise. Neocons have done more to destroy conservatism than an entire army of Leftists. These Trotskyites are the conservative's real enemy. Neocons delendi sunt!

Sorry, but I don't agree that "real Conservatives" oppose or opposed the war in Iraq. That's revisionism, pure and simple. "Real" conservatives favored a broad-based war to root out terrorism and state sponsors of terror "wherever they exist," as Bush originally promised. They still support such a war by an overwhelming majority.

The issue is the limited prosecution of this war. In its current and strictly limited form, it is not the all-out war on Islamic terrorism and extremism that we were promised. So the problem is not the war per se, but the "**** or get off the pot" frustration felt over the politically correct pussyfooting that has seen Iran acquire nuclear arms while we dawdle in Iraq.

Again, it's not the war, but the fact that many of us feel we were misled about the nature and intent of the war.

When I really started listening to the neo-cons after 2000, like
Bill Kristol, Krauthslimer, etc., I started to realize I actually liked
guys like Pat Buchanan & Krauthslimer made my skin crawl. Then
I started to see the differences between real conservatives &, what I
now realize to be, globalists. So for me it was a path of the
    post-modern swamp.
