Anti-illegal immigration group ALIPAC’s endorsements so far skip Colorado
By John Tomasic 8/24/10 1:59 PM
As the already heated discussion around immigration grows hotter and as primary election season around the country draws to a close, Americans for Legal Immigration has announced a list of 20 fresh endorsements in federal races. The group, a lightning rod for controversy for its activist stance against illegal immigration, has yet to weigh in on Colorado races, although ALIPAC president William Gheen told the Colorado Independent that the group’s endorsements in the state’s contests will be coming soon.
“Colorado is ALIPAC’s 6th largest supporter base behind California, Texas, Florida, Arizona, and North Carolina. Rest assured we will be weighing in on more races there shortly,â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Mr. John Tomasic:
You have just posted an article with the title "Anti illegal immigration group ALIPAC's Endorsements So Far Skip Colorado" which contains the line "The group, a lightning rod for controversy for its activist stance against illegal immigration, has yet to weigh in on Colorado races".
Both the title of your article and this comment are demonstrably false.
We have already endorsed two candidates in Colorado. Our Endorsements for incumbent Congressman Doug Lambourn, and incumbent Congressman Mike Coffman were made in past election cycles and were part of our first endorsements of 2010 released via national press release months ago!
Their names and links next to the word "ENDORSED" are on clear display in our Colorado endorsements section.
I do not understand why you would make false statements related to the campaigns and elections of Colorado, but please adjust your article and title to reflect the truth.
You have misinformed your readers about ALIPAC's endorsements and I believe that is a violation of federal law especially if done by a business or non profit organization.
Please correct the information immediately.
