Congress is to blame. It's their policy and their law.

We need at least a 10 to 20 Year Moratorium on All Immigration and we need it now. Pass the FairTax, relieve our businesses and workers from the devastating income tax that has destroyed our country, bring our jobs back, put Americans to work, and close the borders for at least a decade. Cut off all benefits to immigrants and watch America soar.

Yeah, you might pay a little more for your stuff from China with a big fat tariff on it, but guess what? It's your decision to buy it, you're free to just say "no", and you'll have a great job to pay for it if you decide you want it after all.

Do not be fooled by the people trying to destroy our country. Use your heads and the common sense you were born with.

N.J. mayor says he is helping thousands of Cuban refugees come to U.S.

    WEST NEW YORK
    — A Cuban-born N.J. mayor says that he is helping thousands of Cuban refugees come to America, and has used $200,000 of his own money so far to support refugees during their travels. . .

Already, Roque said, he has used $200,000 of his own money to help with "hotels, clothes, medications, transportation," but "90 percent" of the people are covering the cost of their own international travel. . .

Another move to bring in tens of thousands of sleezeballs was O's make up with Cuba - no one else in our gov't had anything else to say @ that? Wonder if they all wear Rubio's cuban heeled boots?

Video: Immigration rules differ for Cubans, Central Americans, Syrians

While tens of thousands of Cubans fleeing their Communist nation have arrived at the Laredo port of entry, federal immigration authorities report at least 77 Central American women and children have

been sent back to one of most dangerous regions in the world. Syrians have begun arriving in the U.S. but not without being heavily scrutinized for possible terrorist ties.

Record number of Cuban migrants cause concern in South Florida

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A record number of incoming Cuban migrants is making some wonder about South Florida's readiness to support so many newcomers.

Many migrants are happy to be out of the island nation. "There's no life in Cuba," said Cuban migrant Joel Blanco in Spanish. "There's no way to live. You have to live it to be able to understand it."

Blanco was part of the 8,000 Cubans stuck in Costa Rica after Nicaragua closed its border. "Costa Rica gave us good attention as much as they could," he said through a translator. "They weren't ready for us."

However, the question now has become, is South Florida ready for so many immigrants? The number of Cuban migrants traveling to the country by land and sea is staggering.

In January alone, the Coast Guard has reported that 435 migrants have attempted the trip by boat with some being rescued at sea and sent back to Cuba. "We are certainly concerned because we are seeing more migrants take to extreme measures," said Lt. Cmdr. Gabe Somma of the Coast Guard Guard 7th District. "There's some hostility."

With the United States working to normalize relations with Cuba, many migrants believe that this is the time to leave the country. "The perception by a lot of migrants is that the window of opportunity is going to close," said Somma said.
Despite there being no change in immigration policy, thousands are still making the journey.

Local leaders have asked the federal government to step in and help as South Florida fears a shortage of resources needed to assist the migrants and educate their children. "We are ready to teach love and hug every one of these kids," said Miami-Dade County Schools Superintendent Alberto Carvalho. "It's our moral and legal responsibility, but the federal government cannot shirk it's responsibility in terms of financially supporting their needs."

Blanco said he will work to be reunited with his family. "I'm going to work and work and work until I can bring them here," Blanco said in Spanish. "Nobody wants their children to go through what they went through."
At the current rate, the Coast Guard expects 6,000 Cubans to arrive in the country by sea this year.

Thousands of Cuban Refugees Crossing the Border

    Posted: Jan 25, 2016 4:25 PM PST
    Updated: Jan 25, 2016 4:25 PM PST

HIDALGO – At least 7,000 Cuban refugees are expected to come to the border in the next coming days.

The activity at the Hidalgo International Bridge continues. For 40 years, Jose Angel Rodriguez has made his living driving a cab.

He said he’s seeing more Cubans crossing the port of entry. “They get here every night, in the morning, and at night they get here. They go to Laredo, too,” Rodriguez said.

Rodriguez remembered taking a few to a hotel or store. It gets busier each week that passes by.

Down the road from the bridge were a handful of 15-passenger vans. They had Florida license plates. Giovanni Acosta is one of them.

“In Cuba, there’s nothing. There’s no freedom. We came from Cuba because the pressure that we have there,” Giovanni Acosta said.

Acosta said he’s waiting for his wife to come to the bridge so he can take her back to Miami. She’s taking the same track as he once did. “I did the same path, like all the Cubans did. I came from Ecuador. I walked for 27 days on the road,” he said.

Congressman Henry Cuellar’s office said Cuban refugees are coming to Laredo’s Point of Entry every day and the numbers are increasing. They’re coming from Central America through Mexico to the border.

Acosta’s van can take more than just his family. He said he can help the Cuban refugees, but his goal is to pick up his family, to bring them safely back home.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS spoke to U.S. Customs and Border Protection to see if they were prepared for the influx. They released a statement that said in part, "U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is prepared to process the expected increase in Cubans applying for admission at South Texas ports of entry. CBP officers will process Cuban nationals in accordance with established procedures as expeditiously as possible while maintaining requirements and standards for individuals in our care."

We need to be refusing their entry. Let them be a Mexico problem! We catch them at sea 100ft off the U.S. coast and we return them home. However, we allow them to pour in by the thousands when the come across land. It just doesn't make any sense! Why isn't a bill being rushed through the U.S. Congress as we speak to address this issue?
