Former Arizona governor: Some anti-Trump protesters more loyal to Mexico

    Aamer Madhani , USA TODAY 11:29 a.m. EST November 16, 2016

Former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer blasted some anti-Trump protesters who have taken to the streets of U.S. cities since last week’s election as jobless or illegal immigrants who have greater loyalty to Mexico than the U.S.

Brewer noted in a Tuesday radio interview with Phoenix’s KTAR News that some of the demonstrators waved Mexican flags in the protests that have broken out in more than 50 cities around the country.

“A lot of them aren’t legal citizens and some of them are and they didn’t even vote,” said Brewer, who has been mentioned as a potential Cabinet appointee in President-elect Donald Trump’s administration. She added they “obviously don’t have jobs, right? So what better things do they have to do? So they’re just out there, marching away.”

Brewer also called on school administrators to take a stand against walkouts by students protesting Trump’s election.

Students in n Los Angeles, Denver, Phoenix, Portland, Ore., San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and elsewhere have staged walkouts in recent days.

“It’s outrageous,” she said. “It’s out of control.”

Brewer in the interview also defended Trump’s selection of Steve Bannon to serve as his chief political strategist in the White House. Bannon, an executive of the online publication Breitbart News, served Trump as a senior campaign aide. Trump's critics have criticized the Bannon appointment, charging that Breitbart traffics in racism and anti-Semitism.

Brewer, who said she does not know Bannon personally, argued that he deserves a chance after helping successfully guide Trump to his upset victory over Hillary Clinton.

"People have said publicly that he was the strategist and that he has the ear of Donald Trump and he won so he owes a lot to Steve Bannon,” Brewer said. “And if he was good at doing that, then why not give him a chance at this? I don't think Donald Trump will keep him if he goes berserk."

Illegal aliens are all more loyal to their home countries. They're here for illicit purpose, they are criminals, they are cheats, liars, sneaks, thieves, frauds, scammers and drug runners and operators of other illegal black market enterprises. Good people do not break another country's sovereignty and national laws on purpose. Do some make a mistake or think their infraction is not serious like visa overstayers? Sure, but they will soon learn that when the visa is up, you're out and going home. That's another thing that Trump said, all visa overstays will be deported Day One.
