Our future is Europe.

In a move that will surprise — maybe even shock — America’s conservatives, the president has apparently decided to put deportation at the forefront of his immigration policy. This is not window-dressing, but a serious and sweeping national crackdown on illegal immigration. The president has set tough numerical goals for yearly expulsions, and quotas for questioning suspected illegal aliens.

The only drawback here is that I’m talking about the president of France.

Even so, the emerging crackdown on illegal immigration goes well beyond France. The European Union has just proposed a tough new plan, featuring sanctions on employers who hire illegal immigrants. Under the proposed new policy, ten percent of Europe’s companies would be inspected every year, employers would be required to run identity checks, fines would be levied on business violators, and employers who repeatedly or egregiously breach hiring laws would be subject to severe economic penalties or imprisonment.

That’s not all. The European Union as a whole, many of its individual states, and even immigrant destinations outside the EU (such as Russia) are moving to negotiate “readmission accordsâ€

Europeans know what is happening due to illegal immigration and are trying to fight against it. While our president and congress sit in their fenced houses and hire illegals to clean their houses, mow their lawns, work in their offices and think americans are stupid. Which if 1639 passes due to americans not talking to their senators, then most americans are stupid. We have sat on our fat butts and done nothing while Bush has allowed the border to remain open, allowed jobs to go overseas, given billion of dollars to countries which hate americans. It is now time for us to talk back our country and have our government clean up illegals much as France is doing.

Do we see this news in our main stream media? NO!

They're all part in selling out American Citizens.

I don't really buy into the idea that attracting only"high skilled" immigrants is necessarily the solution, either. It's great if they are truly intelligent, capable people who tuly contribute to the betterment of society. Some "professionals" turn out to be destructive moles. I have had some dealings with commodities brokers--- immigrants--- who were really bad. Unfortunately, many foreigners, from all kinds of ideological backgrounds see European and American society as their own golden opportunity. I think the settlement of "Cuban refugees" in So. Florida might provide a good example. Sure they fled Castro; but So. Florida also has a reputation as the con artist capital of the US. Is there a link?

Building construction craftsmen are regarded as low skilled, yet they make one of the most lasting contributions to any society. Is it any suprise that the agent craft of masonry would rise to a religious status? We do need innovators who can make American products competitive on the world market; crafty opportunists we don't need.

200,000 to 400,000 we should be so lucky! They are having the same problems we are, their citizens are losing jobs and illegals are causing wages to plummit!!
