Grassley: No Leadership on Reform

Immigration reform isn’t happening because the country lacks leadership from President Obama, says Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.

In a speech in Texas earlier this month, President Obama said the U.S.-Mexican border is safer than at any other time in the United States history, but Grassley begs to differ. In an opinion piece in The Hill, Grassley said a little less than half of the 2,000-mile stretch of the border remains unguarded, giving thousands of illegal immigrants the opportunity to cross over into America.
