LAS MILPAS - Pharr police are investigating after a grenade was thrown into a Las Milpas home.

It happened after 10 p.m. Wednesday on Olivares Street. Pharr police say no one was hurt. The McAllen Police Department bomb squad was called in to help get rid of the grenade.

No evacuations were ordered in the neighborhood. People who live in the area were asked to stay indoors.

A neighbor we spoke with asked us to hide his identity. He says he saw the suspect. He says at first, he didn't know what was thrown. He thought it was a bottle. It wasn't until later that an officer told him it was a grenade. The neighbor says the suspect was driving a blue Mustang.

Officers stayed at the scene until around 1:30 a.m. Thursday. Police tell also they found at least two more suspicious devices in the home. Right now, they're not saying what those items were.
