Harnett County, NC: 9 Indicted on Immigration and Fraud Violations

Nine people in Harnett County, North Carolina were indicted on various charges of fraud and immigration violations according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of North Carolina.
Indicted for immigration charges which include the Illegal Reentry of a Deported Alien:


  • Victor Diaz-Hernandez age 46, of Mexico
  • Osman Mauricio Gomex-Martine, age 19, of Honduras
  • Juan Carlos Gutierrez, age 51, of Honduras
  • Jorge Orlin Mayorga-Ramos, age 33, of Honduras
  • Joes Luis Montero-Garcia, age 28, of Mexico
  • Jose Gaudalupe Ramirez-Lopez, age 28, of Mexico
  • Gonzalo Ruiz-Maartinez, age 24, of Mexico
  • Ricardo Adan Sanchez-Campos, age 36, of El Salvador


Also indicted was Elizabeth Jose-Morales, age 29, of Mexico. Jose-Morales was indicted on charges of, “False Representation of a Social Security Account Number and Fraud and Misuse of Visas, Permits, and other Documents.” These charges carry with them a twenty-five years sentence and a $250,000 fine.


According to the press release, all nine cases have been turned over to the Department of Homeland Security.


Another illegal alien was taken into custody in Lee County, North Carolina for inappropriately touching a female student as the high school he was attending.


Oliver Hernandez, 18, has a 2015 charge of gang rape on a 14 year-old girl still pending. Lee county law enforcement took Hernandez into custody and his bond was raised to $205,000.

Sheriff Carter indicated that Hernandez was an illegal alien and that there is an ICE detainer on him as well. Carter indicated he was in the process of inquiring why an ICE detainer was not placed on Hernandez at that time.
