Mexico, Aug 16 (Prensa Latina) Head of the Gulf drug cartel Silvestre Haro Maya, aka El Chive, was arrested in the municipality of Tampco, together with relatives and accomplices, by members of the Mexican Tamaulipas state Force, according to reports today. Ismael Quintanilla, ,spokesman of the Coordination Office in Tamaulipas, confirmed the incident and said that together with Haro, his brother-in-law Carlos Alberto Alvarez, known as R5, who was his right hand in the criminal organization, was also arrested. Haro was operating in the area of Tampico, Madero and Altamira, while his capture caused at least one road blockage.
