ICE agents have swept up more than 200 illegal immigrants — including a vast majority who have convictions or pending criminal charges — immigration officials told the Herald.

“These arrests are just one more indicator of the threat that sanctuary policies pose to our communities,” said Todd M. Lyons, acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office director for Boston. “Our officers will continue to arrest public safety threats that are released back to the communities, even as we remain committed to working with our local law enforcement partners to keep communities in the region safe.”

    The arrests include:

    • Alois Mutare, 42, a citizen of Zimbabwe, facing a felony rape charge in Boston. As the Herald recently reported, Mutare is accused of raping a 25-year-old woman after picking her up outside a bar. ICE said he has “overstayed his temporary visitor status by nearly 20 years” and now faces being deported.
    • A 48-year-old from Guatemala convicted of murder and kidnapping and sentenced to 15 years to life.
    • A 29-year-old from Liberia and a member of the Bloods gang convicted of conspiracy to commit extortion and burglary.
    • A 34-year-old, previously removed, charged with homicide and armed robbery in the Dominican Republic.

A total of 209 illegal immigrants were arrested by ICE officers in recent weeks, including 178 facing charges or with past records, ICE said.

The illegal immigrants hailed from Angola, Brazil, Burundi, Cape Verde, China, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, India, Italy, Ireland, Jamaica, Liberia, Mexico, Portugal, Trinidad and Zimbabwe.

    NO AMNESTY

Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.

Now go in and apprehend and deport their entire family and friends. Remove another reason they keep coming back here and get them all out of our schools.
ILLEGAL ALIENS HAVE "BROKEN" OUR IMMIGRATION SYSTEM

DO NOT REWARD THEM - DEPORT THEM ALL

209 down... only 22 million to go. While it is heartening to see something happeneing in the way of ICE arrests and deportation... the scale is woefully inadequate and a drop in the ocean.

America needs the large scale deportation force and deportations that Trump promised us in 2016.
