Dec. 8, 2014 – HSI seizes more than $1 million in counterfeit goods from Detroit retailer

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) seized more than 6,000 counterfeit items with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $1.6 million from a Detroit business, including fake designer clothing and luxury accessories. Full Story

Dec. 10, 2014 – ICE removes man wanted on aggravated homicide charges to El Salvador

Dec. 12, 2014 – ICE assistant chief counsel served as sole staff judge advocate to U.S. Navy SEAL team in Afghanistan

Fifteen Suspects Entangled in Operation Synthetic Web

DEC 12 (MIAMI)

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Miami Field Division working in conjunction with the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office (PBSO), Broward County Sheriff's Office (BSO), Hendry County Sheriff's Office (HCSO), Pembroke Pines Police Department (PPPD), City of Miami Gardens Police Department (MGPD), and the Attorney General's Office of Statewide Prosecution conducted an investigation into an organized synthetic drug trafficking organization (DTO). This eight month investigation dubbed "Operation Synthetic Web" culminated today with the arrests of 15 individuals. These individuals were involved in the sale and distribution of large quantities of leaf based and liquid based synthetic cannabinoid products throughout Palm Beach, Broward, Miami Dade, Marion, Manatee and Hendry counties.

Retired south Texas high school teacher sentenced to 8 years in federal prison for possessing child pornography
Thomas Thompson, 66, of Alice, Texas, was sentenced Dec. 11 to 96 months in federal prison, along with a lifetime of supervised release and registration as a sex offender. Additional charges against Thompson are pending with the state court for molesting his granddaughter.
