Dec. 2, 2013 – ICE, international law enforcement agencies seize 706 domain names selling counterfeit merchandise

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) teamed with 10 foreign law enforcement agencies to seize hundreds of domain names that were illegally selling counterfeit merchandise online to unsuspecting consumers. Full Story

Dec. 2, 2013 – ICE removes 2 violent criminal aliens wanted in El Salvador

Two Salvadoran nationals wanted on murder and rape charges in their home country were removed from the United States by officers with ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) to face charges. Full Story

Dec. 6, 2013 – NJ man pleads guilty to selling stolen South Central Asian antiquities

A New Jersey man pleaded guilty Dec. 4 in New York City for his role in coordinating a large-scale conspiracy to sell stolen Indian antiquities worth tens of millions of dollars. The investigation leading to the guilty plea was conducted by HSI. Full Story

24 Arrests in Joint Imperial County Investigation Over 3 tons of Cocaine Seized
DEC 04 (SAN DIEGO & IMPERIAL, CALIF.)
In November 2010, special agents with the Imperial County Narcotic Task Force (ICNTF) initiated a California State wiretap investigation into the importation and transportation activities of a Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO) based in Mexicali, Baja California Norte (BCN), Mexico. Dubbed Operation Cerberus, this investigation targeted Sinaloa Cartel cocaine trafficking cells primarily operating along the southwest border in California and Arizona.
