May 1, 2014 – HSI arrests 638 gang members during month-long operation
More than 600 gang members and associates from 145 different gangs were arrested in 179 cities across the U.S. during Project Southbound, a month-long operation executed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), which targeted gangs affiliated with the Sureños. April 30, 2014 – Salvadoran man wanted for aggravated homicide in El Salvador removed
A Salvadoran national wanted in El Salvador for aggravated homicide was deported by officers from ICE's Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Washington, and turned over to the El Salvador Policía Nacional Civil at the San Salvador international airport. Full Story
