Complaints about Illinois’ new temporary drivers’ license for undocumented immigrants are starting to pile up.

A new state law allows them to get a special license to drive if the buy insurance and meet other conditions.

Applications can’t be submitted until Dec. 3, but applicants say they’re frustatred because they’re getting busy signals at the secretary of state’s office when they call to make a mandatory appointment.

They say the website isn’t much help either.

Secretary of State Jesse White is telling people to be patient.
